Starting from Jimingyi, we went straight to Zhangjiakou and planned to have lunch there.

Zhangjiakou was just a fort in the Ming Dynasty, Zhangjiakou Fort.

The original function of Zhangjiakou Fort was armaments, that is, defense.

From the topography point of view, this is indeed a dangerous place with a man in charge.

It was only in the later period that Zhangjiakou Fort gradually changed and turned into a small trading town. Along with the throes of the late Ming and early Qing dynasties, some people ascended to heaven and others crawled into the grass.

What was once a fortress and later a gathering place for merchants has now become a city, a city that is bigger than I expected.

After searching all the way, I finally found a noodle shop.

The name of the noodle shop is very interesting. I ordered a bowl of noodles.  The soup was good, so I made an exception and didn't add chili.

You can tell a person¡¯s attitude towards life by eating noodles.

I just drank it all in one gulp and finished the noodles without stopping.  The same is true for Sister Yu. I think we are mostly supporters of the argument that "food is only for sustaining life".

The leader eats noodles very slowly. He seems to be enjoying life rather than delicious food.

Is it better to maintain life or enjoy life?  I think this is a problem.

There is food in the belly and no panic in the heart.  We set off again and reached the grassland road with ease.

I had heard of the Prairie Road before I came here, and I thought it would be a scene of a vast sky, vast fields, windblown grass, and cattle and sheep.

¡°I¡¯ll take you to see the snow.¡±

The leader said so, but the reality has made our ideas come to nothing.

The north in early spring was very flattering to our group, and the sun was shining brightly.

The wind is not too strong. For a person who lives in a coastal area temporarily, such wind is just normal.

But what¡¯s going on with the withered yellow in front of you?

Yes, it looks all yellow to the eye.

It is already the season in the south when peaches and plums are fragrant and young grass branches are vying to emerge, but here it is still a cold winter scene.

    ????????????????????????

Driving long distances was tiring, so the driver of the car was changed. Sister Yu took a rest, and the leader¡¯s daughter took the driver¡¯s seat.

    ¡°I took the driver¡¯s license test.¡±

The leader¡¯s introduction made me feel cold. I took a peek at the new driver and found that I was a little excited.

Sister Yu, the old god, was sitting in the back. She just talked about some precautions for the car, and then started to rest.

And I was also pushed to the front passenger seat. The leader joked: "For my safety, I will sit in the back."

The start was a little slow, but at least I didn¡¯t use the accelerator as a brake, so I gradually felt relieved.

The road to the sky is very narrow and is covered with withered yellow grass. Some of the withered and yellow grass look as neat as wheat straw.

There are almost no cars on the road, because it says at the entrance: closed.

We chose a place, got out of the car and started taking pictures.

A group of people were not good at taking pictures of me, and they felt awkward in the meal, so they were criticized.

There is a slope on the right. After taking the photo, Xiaobai went down and took a look, and then said that the scenery was good, so I followed him down.

The soil was very loose and floating. I leaned over and pinched the withered grass and crushed it!

    This is the north!

Unlike the south, where small bridges, flowing water and soft rain can make literati and poets flourish in poetry, the natural environment here is obviously much worse.

And those are like planted grass, I think they should be used to solidify the soil. Otherwise, when the wind blows, the floating soil will go with the wind and turn into dust haze.

The slope ends abruptly at a cliff ahead.

It¡¯s like a grand canyon was created out of thin air below. No, it can¡¯t be called a canyon.

On the way back, I asked the leader that this kind of terrain is called under the dam.

You can never see this kind of terrain from both sides of the road. It is likea basin with undulating mountains and small rivers flowing below.  Residential houses are dotted among them.

The first impression is shock, the shock brought by the completely different landforms.

It¡¯s like a new world suddenly appears before your eyes, making you want to explore it.

We lingered here for a long time before continuing to set off reluctantly.

Because the withered yellow color occupied our sight, we decided to go to another place.

    ¡ª¡ªZhang Bei!

Zhangbei has a long history and has always beenChanging ownership in the back and forth between the nomadic people and the Central Plains, it was once the central capital of the Yuan Dynasty.

In the early Ming Dynasty, this place was Xinghe Mansion.  Then after a counterattack, it was recaptured again, returned to the territory of the Ming Dynasty, and became the Ming Dynasty's Xinghe Guards Station.

This is the final point of our trip - Xinghe Fort in the book!

Xinghe Fort is naturally impossible to see. Standing on a high slope and looking at Zhangbei County, there is a small river below.

The frozen river looks white. If it were not for time constraints, I think I would go down and have a look and re-experience the fun of breaking ice by the river as a child.

There is a windmill with wind power on the top of the slope, and the huge fan blades are blown by the wind, making a whirring sound.

Naturally, there are no historic sites to be seen here. Except for some buildings in the county town, the surrounding countryside is vast.

"Xing Hebo made the Jingguan here, let's do one too."

The leader suggested that everyone use stones to build a pile of stones to chat.

When I just mentioned Yan Niang¡¯s eye, I couldn¡¯t do anything. It was 8000 or Xiaobai carved an eye on the stone, and then we were done.

Knight started the live broadcast and asked Sister Yu: "Sister Jazz, will your next book be a female channel?"

Sister Yu replied seriously: "Yes, female channel."

A group of people burst into laughter.

¡°Happiness is never complicated. When you feel relaxed and all you see are beautiful scenery, you will naturally feel happy.

Come with joy and return with all the joy!

I think this is the highest level of travel!

We started to return, and when we entered a hilly area, I thought this should be the Yehuling area back then.

I still remember that the origin of Yehuling is that there are many foxes.  The mountain ridges were undulating in front of me, and there was no trace of the fox, just silent.

This is the dividing line between nomadic pastoralism and farming. Once you enter this place, it is farming.

When the nomads are strong, this is the entrance to the south invasion.

When the Central Plains was strong, this was the exit for attacks.

Looking at the gray mountains, we have witnessed the rise and fall of thousands of years, as well as countless joys and sorrows.

All the way back to Zhangjiakou, a room has been booked here.

The last day is always a little bit sad, and then the leader is happy again, because he found that he had lost his coat, and he had lost it during lunch, and he had left it in that noodle shop.

I don¡¯t worry about the outer cover, but the ID card inside is a headache.

Fortunately, I was lucky. I contacted him on the phone and found that the clothes were there and the ID card was also there.

After drinking and chatting all over the world, there were only three people left, which lasted until about two o'clock in the morning.

    ¡¡

In order to avoid the traffic rush hour, we set off back to Beijing before dawn the next morning, thus ending our trip to the north.

Thank you to the leader and Sister Yu for the preparation and hospitality.  This was a successful gathering, and it was also a happy gathering. I think no matter how long it takes, people will be able to find it out of their memories from time to time and reflect on it slowly (Remember this site¡¯s website address: www.hlnovel.com
