Micheal washed his hands and came out, and saw that the dining table was filled with a variety of dishes.  He looked at the people who were still busy in the kitchen and wondered how long she had been busy with this table of dishes.

Xia Wancheng brought the rice balls with fermented rice and said with an extremely pale face: "Eat more. I went to Modisha and there was nothing."

Micheal picked up the bowl in response and whispered: "It's not that I won't come back."

Xia Wancheng glanced at him, took out a bottle of high-alcohol liquor from under the dining table, and poured a full glass for herself and him.

Micheal looked at the wine glass being pushed over, "I have surgery tomorrow."

Xia Wancheng turned a deaf ear and clinked the wine glass with him, then raised her head and took a big gulp.

Micheal looked at her expression and shrank in an instant, followed by tears splashing out.

    ¡°If you don¡¯t know how to drink, don¡¯t drink.¡±

Micheal reached out to grab Xia Wancheng¡¯s wine glass, but she sidestepped him.  She raised her head and drank the remaining wine in one gulp, then picked up her chopsticks and nodded at the food in front of her, "Let's eat."

Micheal saw that Xia Wancheng had filled himself up with wine again.  This time she ignored him and drank on her own.

This time it seems that I have adapted a lot, and I am no longer forced to cry by the irritating liquid, but I always look pitiful.

When they got to the back, Xia Wancheng sat there with a red face and a distracted look.

Micheal waved his hand in front of her eyes and asked, "Are you drunk?"

Xia Wancheng's eyes didn't move at all, and it seemed like she couldn't see the hand in front of her at all. She just stared blankly in front of her, neither speaking nor moving.

Micheal sighed silently in his heart and started to clean up the dining table and kitchen.

When he finished all this, he found that Xia Wancheng was still sitting where he was, maintaining the same posture as before.

Micheal was now sure that Xia Wancheng was drunk. He stretched out his hand and tried her forehead and side face, feeling the hot temperature.

He called out Xia Wancheng¡¯s name, but there was no response.

He bowed and picked up Xia Wancheng.  At this time, I heard her say in a daze: "When you come back, I will be married."

Micheal paused for a moment and looked up at her, only to see that her eyes were still fixed on the opposite wall.

He asked: "Who are you going to marry?"

Xia Wancheng said no more, only a tear fell silently from the corner of her eye.

Micheal picked her up and reached out to brush away the tears from her cheeks.

"Such a thing will not happen."

    ¡¡

Xia Wancheng woke up feeling dizzy and brain-swelled.

She smelled the faint grapefruit aroma and knew she was still at Dr. Micheal's house.

It was 5 a.m., half an hour before her alarm clock went off.

She turned on the desk lamp and saw that she was sleeping in a familiar room, with the tape from the last typhoon still on the window next to her.

Xia Wancheng stood up and saw that her dress was no different from when she came.

There is only a warm night light on in the living room.  The scenery outside the window is pitch black, with the occasional rushing car lights leaving a shadow of realistic shooting stars in the darkness.

Xiawan Chengsheng ate a whole tomato to relieve his hangover, and then started preparing breakfast.

At five-thirty in the morning, when there was still no sunlight visible in the sky outside, the summer evening orange alarm clock rang.

A few minutes after the alarm clock rang, Dr. Michael opened the door to the room.  As if she didn't realize there was someone outside, Xia Wancheng saw some surprise and embarrassment in his eyes.

Xia Wancheng calmly averted her eyes, pretending not to notice his fluffy and deformed hair, and kept moving her hands, wrapping up a cage of crystal clear steamed dumplings in a few minutes.

When Micheal appeared again as the deputy chief physician of the Department of Neurology, Xia Wancheng had already packed a carefully prepared breakfast.

She pushed the door open and signaled Michael to take the money, paper, fire and garbage in the corner.

Micheal was waiting for her to lock the door at the elevator, and suddenly felt an unexpected and harmonious feeling in his heart.

At 6 o'clock in the morning in December in Bohai, the sky is still pitch black, and there are only a few street lamps illuminating the long road leading to the garage.

Micheal puts the rubbish into the trash can.  The next second, his free right hand was held by a cold hand.

He looked back and saw that Xia Wancheng was wearing a white down jacket and a hat with a circle of fluff on it.  Her face is hidden behind this ball of hair, so it's hard to see clearly.

Before meetingJust seeing her motionless, Xia Wancheng stamped her feet and said softly: "It's very cold."

Micheal walked forward, Xia Wancheng followed him slightly staggered a few steps.  She looked at the bag of Michael's long black windbreaker. The narrow bag contained both of their hands.

    It¡¯s very warm.

There was light rain on the road, and the road leading to Yunyin Temple Mountain became rough and muddy.  Xia Wancheng held on to her seat belt and watched as the car was just a step away from the cliff several times, but every time, Michael calmly resolved the situation.

He told Xia Wancheng, "Don't be afraid."  But Xia Wancheng was thinking in her heart that if this person was next to her, the car would be able to flip over.

Because of the rain, it was very gray and hazy even at eight o'clock in the morning.

The abbot of Yunyin Temple held an umbrella to greet them in front of the temple gate.  Micheal took the umbrella and hugged Xia Wancheng to his side. Almost the whole umbrella fell on her head.

The host saw it and said with a smile: "Madam, you are so lucky."

Xia Wancheng burned the first incense devoutly, and then took Michael to the main hall to kowtow.

Micheal stood at the door and said calmly: "I don't believe this."

Xia Wancheng was annoyed when he heard this.  Grab his hand and hit the wood.

    "Bah, bah, bah."

Micheal looked at her and said, "Xia Wancheng, you didn't believe this before."

Xia Wancheng's expression and movements were stunned, and he was slightly angry and said: "Buddha saves all sentient beings. It is never too late to believe in Buddhism."

Micheal could see the sincere nervousness and worry in Xia Wancheng¡¯s eyes, so he could only accompany her into the main hall and watch her kneel on the futon upright.

Xia Wancheng put her hands together in front of her nose, looking like the most devout believer.  Xia Wancheng closed his eyes and muttered words, and Michael could always hear words like "peace" and "health", just like what his mother said while burning incense day and night.

When Xia Wancheng put down her hand, she saw Michael standing behind and looking at her.  She asked angrily: "Don't you want to make a wish?"

    "I want nothing."

When Xia Wancheng heard this, her eyes immediately turned red. She took a deep breath and knelt heavily on the ground.

Micheal just listened, and three heavy muffled sounds came from the empty Buddhist temple.  (Remember the website address: www.hlnovel.com
