It has just entered the twelfth lunar month, and it has snowed heavily in Baihai City for several days. The snow covered the dirty street scene, but it gave people a warm and pure feeling.

In the basement at dusk, an unkempt woman was pushed out of bed.

The woman clawed hard at the edge of the bed, her body shaking like chaff. After struggling for a long time, she finally gave up her strength and collapsed to the ground.

Dirty sheets were thrown over the woman's head.  In an instant, the suffocating smell and stench of urine hit me.

The bloated woman stared at the woman in front of her and said with disdain: "I eat, drink, and have sex on this bed. When Mr. Luo and Mrs. Luo come later, they will be suffocated to death by the smell!"

Xia Wancheng didn't speak for some days. After a long time, she finally spoke with a cracked throat: "Aunt Zhao, I remember that your son had to pay for surgery that year. You knelt in front of my mother and swore that you would work for my family for the rest of your life.  .It¡¯s only been a few years now?¡±

The woman seemed to have heard some joke: "Which calendar year are you living in? Don't you know that you are now hemiplegic and incontinent? You still think you are the third miss of the Xia family? If Mr. Luo and Mrs. Luo weren't so kind-hearted, how could you have done this in the twelfth lunar month?  You have to freeze to death outside!"

"Mr. Luo and Mrs. Luo are kind-hearted?" Xia Wancheng murmured and repeated it several times, then suddenly smiled, "Yes, Mr. Luo and Mrs. Luo are one of the most kind-hearted people in Baihai."

¡°Thanks to two kind people who tampered with her car, she lost one of her legs and was living in this basement.  She is where she is today because of the kindness of these two great people.

With a creak, the heavy iron door opened, and the woman carefully called out: "Mr. Luo."

Behind the door, the person standing in a crisp suit is Mr. Luo Wenlinluo, Xia Wancheng's legal spouse.

Luo Wenlin has never been a sloppy person. He told Xia Wancheng straightforwardly: "Your brother is going to have a kidney transplant. Congratulations, your match was successful."

The sun had set, and it was dark inside and outside the house. Xia Wancheng had to squint hard to see him clearly.  "What kind of brother is Xue Fuguang of mine? Who in the whole Baihai family doesn't know that he is a bastard?"

Luo Wenlin threw a paper bag over and turned on the light.  He said softly: "You can talk to me after you see that thing. I'm not in a hurry."

Xia Wancheng felt panicky for no reason.  But she still opened the bag, and inside there was a diagnosis of severe kidney failure, which required an immediate kidney transplant.  "Is this Xue Fuguang's report?"

Luo Wenlin's voice, which had no fluctuation at all, floated from afar: "It's Luo Shen!"

Xia Wancheng could only crawl on the ground as if her strength had been drained from her body. She screamed: "You lied to me!"

"You gave birth to Luo Shen, but you don't know what his body is like?" Luo Wenlin lit up a cigarette and slowly exhaled, "There is something wrong with your family's genes. First it's your brother, and then it's your son."

Xia Wancheng argued again: "Xue Fuguang has nothing to do with me!"

"It doesn't matter. Let's make a deal, you save your brother, I'll save your son, and we each get what we need."

Xia Wancheng felt like her heart was broken. She gritted her teeth and said, "Luo Shen is your son too!"

"Look what you said." Luo Wenlin laughed, with a childlike innocence on his face, "I can't only have him as my son in this life, right?"

Xia Wancheng trembled for a long time before she could finish her sentence: "I will give my kidney to Xue Fuguang, can you really save Luo Shen?"

"Luo Shen is also my son." Luo Wenlin lost all his patience and only urged: "Just to remind you, Xue Fuguang can't wait for Luo Shen. The doctor is already waiting outside. I'll let them in after you sign."

Xia Wancheng laughed sincerely: "What does it matter whether I sign or not? I am a fish and a knife for you. Which organ in my body are you not asking for?"

"Baihai City is a legal society, and I have never engaged in illegal or criminal activities. Besides, the doctor who operated on Xue Fuguang must see this donation letter."

As soon as the signatures were signed, people rushed in at the door.  Xia Wancheng was stirred wantonly, and the sharp anesthesia needle pierced the spine.

"Luo Wenlin!" Xia Wancheng struggled and screamed, "If something happens to Luo Shen, I will never let you go!"

Seemingly far away, Luo Wenlin's voice drifted over: "It's better to wait until you are really a ghost before saying this."

I don¡¯t know how long she slept, but Xia Wancheng opened her eyes again and saw a fashionably dressed woman sitting beside her bed.

"Are you awake?" the woman said with a smile.

Xia Wancheng looked at her for a long time before she recognized that this person was her stepmother's daughter, who is nominally her sister, Xue Peirong.

Xia Wancheng took a deep breath.  She had felt pain before she opened her eyes, and now the pain was getting worse, almost making her breathless.

"Does it hurt?" Xue Peirong came over and said softly: "Yes, two kidneys were taken away."

With a bang, Xia Wancheng felt like a big hole was broken in her body, and something was seeping out continuously.

"How could you let someone take away your two kidneys? Are you still alive?"

Xue Peirong stroked her belly up and down, and then Xia Wancheng noticed her bulging belly.

Xue Peirong followed her gaze and looked over with a warm smile on his face: "He will be born in two months, and Luo Wenlin has already given him a name. I guess you are about to die, so I came to see you by the way.  I¡¯ll also tell you about your second sister and Luo Shen.¡±

The pain made Xia Wancheng sweat all over her body. She was like a salted fish about to die of dehydration. She tried hard to open her eyes but could only see a blurry figure.

"A few days ago, we received a death notice from Xia Wuju, saying that she swallowed chopsticks in prison. Dad said that your second sister's death was too embarrassing and he wouldn't let us take the body back for burial."

With a thud, Xia Wancheng jumped violently on the bed, and then collapsed again.

Xue Peirong watched for a while, then took out something and waved it in front of her eyes.

"Do you still know what this is? Yes, this is your son Luo Shen's longevity lock. The poor baby kept calling his mother before he died. I couldn't bear to hear it. You are really stupid."

Xue Peirong leaned into her ear and whispered: "Why do you have hope in Luo Wenlin? You don't know how happy he was when he knew Luo Shen was sick. He never thought of saving Luo Shen."

Xia Wancheng¡¯s clenched lips gradually loosened due to these words. Xue Peirong listened to her go from sobbing to howling, and the tearing sounds became more and more miserable.

"Why are you crying like this? I haven't told you who killed your mother. Guess"

The sound of a train passing through the tunnel seemed to be heard in my ears, completely covering up Xue Peirong's voice.

What is she saying?  Was her mother killed?  Wasn't it a car accident?

A white light exploded in front of his eyes, and Xia Wancheng suddenly saw five white sails flying under the blazing sun.

Those are the five lives of the Xia family.

Xue Peirong was still talking, but Xia Wancheng couldn't hear her.  All she could hear in her ears was the sound of blood boiling. The sound became louder and louder, carrying her through the dark tunnel with the howling wind, arrogant rain, and shaking thunder, and finally, white snow fluttered and fell.

After the snow fell, Xia Wancheng¡¯s world was filled with only darkness.

She stared desperately in the darkness, trying to remember the appearance of the person in front of her.

She thought, if there is an afterlife(remember this website address: www.hlnovel.com
