    ??

What does the nurse mean by this?

"You said that the doctors couldn't detect any disease before, but Dr. Xie found it?"

    "yes."

"I haven't seen it, have I?" Professor Li panicked, took the examination report from Deputy Director Liu's hand and quickly confirmed that the patient had not seen it.

The other doctors were equally nervous, craning their heads and asking: "Which department is the nurse from? Have we seen it?"

¡°She probably hasn¡¯t seen our doctor before.¡± The nurse said.

"That's right." A group of doctors breathed a sigh of relief.

If you miss a diagnosis while seeing a doctor for your colleagues, you will be fine, but your reputation will be ruined among your colleagues in the hospital.

"You can look for Professor Li, why don't you look for it?" Deputy Director Liu asked the nurse. He always thought this was strange. Why did the old professor look for the intern instead of looking for him?

"I looked for other doctors before but couldn't find anything, and they all said it was nothing serious. If I look for him again, I will have a psychological shadow. I just heard someone in the ward say that day that Dr.  Dr. Xie, Dr. Xie saw at a glance that the patient had uterine fibroids and asked him to check it out, and it turned out to be true. I don¡¯t want to see Dr. Xie anymore.¡±

After the nurse¡¯s words, the doctors on site were curious about what kind of strange case it was and why many doctors misdiagnosed it.

    "stomach ache?"

    "How many years?"

    "Three years?"

¡°Wouldn¡¯t it be that if you have had abdominal pain for three years, something will happen sooner rather than later?¡±

    "Why does it hurt?"

"It was a vague pain, sometimes related to menstrual period, so I went to see a gynecologist."

¡°B-ultrasound, gastroscopy, and colonoscopy were all done and everything was fine.¡±

"If it only hurts occasionally, there is no need to have a full abdominal CT scan."

"What does CT find out now?"

¡°It¡¯s hard to say.¡± Professor Li, who was reading the report sheet, spit out these words, and the doctors in the general department were a little panicked.

Sometimes misdiagnosis and missed diagnosis cannot be completely avoided, but if a serious disease is misdiagnosed and missed, it can be very fatal.

Just now, Deputy Director Liu glanced at it and reported next to Shen Jinghui's ear: "I don't know if it's cancer. The mass is very small now, but there are similar calcifications inside. It's not an ideal situation."

    "How old is it?"

    "About one centimeter."

    "What part?"

The degree of malignancy indicated by the size of the tumor is related to the diseased site. Some sites have a high tolerance for tumor size, while others are not. A little bit is often a big problem.

"It seems to be the urachus."

It is a very rare disease to develop in the urachal area.  No wonder it was missed and misdiagnosed.  I saw the expressions on the faces of the doctors present turned pale, and their hearts were probably pounding.

"Have you had hematuria?" Shen Jinghui turned around and quickly asked the patient's condition.

"No." The nurse shook her head on behalf of her sick colleague.

"Ninety-nine percent of the time, such a child will not have such obvious symptoms." Professor Li held on to his reading glasses and kept looking down at the report card.

"Is there only abdominal pain? Is there any bleeding and pus coming out of the navel?" Other doctors asked more carefully.

"No, she always feels uncomfortable in her stomach and has a vague pain somewhere." The nurse explained the situation to the sick colleague, "It started after she gave birth to her child three years ago. I thought it was due to pregnancy, so I went to the gynecologist for a check-up.  I've tried it many times, but it's okay. She had a vaginal birth, not a caesarean section, and she has no post-uterine problems. Anyway, the gynecologist also said she was strange. Could it be a psychological effect?"

"This kind of case is rare, but she should be in her thirties now, right?" Professor Li asked.  (Remember the website address: www.hlnovel.com
