An Ran sat quietly next to the senior's bed. She was still frightened by what happened just now. She gently held his hand, her eyes were slightly red, and she didn't know when she lay on the bed and fell asleep.

She had a long dream, which was a scene when she and her senior were studying. The two were holding hands and walking on the tree-lined path to the library. She was eating ice cream, and the senior had a doting smile on his face.

They were surrounded by envious eyes. They looked like golden boys and girls, so well matched that even several female teachers were envious of them.

This scene lasted for a while, and then returned to the days when she was locked up in the villa to raise her baby. Those days that almost made her depressed to death were the greatest suffering in her life.  However, looking back at those days now, the feeling of depression seems to have eased a lot.

However, such a dream still made her feel particularly uncomfortable. Within a moment, cold sweat broke out on her forehead, and she murmured in her sleep: "No give me your son back. Give me back my son."  I!"

Bai Minxi, who was on the bed, slowly opened his eyes when he heard An Ran's voice. He saw An Ran lying beside the bed, and saw that his hand was still held by her. He tried hard to move his hand, and made a low sound in his throat.  Voice: "An Ran An An Ran"

An Ran couldn¡¯t hear such a small voice at all, she was still having nightmares and talking in her sleep.

Seeing this, Bai Minxi wanted to get up, but he was too weak to get up. He took a deep breath, saw the mobile phone beside the bed, and tried hard to raise his hand and push the mobile phone under the bed.

    Bang Bang!

The sound of the phone falling to the ground was not very loud, and An Ran still had no reaction.

Xiao Jun, who was smoking outside, had sensitive ears. After hearing the sound, he put out the cigarette in his hand and rushed in. When he entered the door, he saw Mr. Bai waking up and raising his hands to pat the bed with difficulty. He hurried over.

He heard Miss An Ran's voice before he reached the bed. When he reached the bed, he found that Miss An Ran was asleep. She was talking in her sleep.

    Something is wrong!

Ms. An Ran looked so painful, it was like she was having a nightmare.

"Call wake her up!" Bai Minxi spat out a few words intermittently.

Xiao Jun nodded and called out: "Miss An Ran, Miss An Ran"

Cui Zaizai saw Xiao Jun suddenly running in and followed him into the room. When he found that Xiao Jun couldn't wake An Ran up, he stepped forward and pinched An Ran hard.

    ah¡¡

An Ran screamed when she felt the pain and slowly opened her eyes.

Seeing the three men looking at her with wet foreheads, she knew that she must have had a nightmare and couldn't wake up, so she was pinched.

She wiped the sweat from her forehead and said with a smile: "Don't worry, I'm fine, I just had a nightmare, you don't have to worry."

Sitting up straight, she looked at the senior who was full of worry, and found that the senior had completely opened his eyes and seemed to be in much better condition than before.

She picked up his hand and felt his pulse quietly. The injection was indeed much better, but the high fever would definitely return at night.

"Why don't you go sleep next door and we'll just watch." Cui Youzai didn't want An Ran to be exhausted, and Bai Minxi would feel bad about it.

"Okay, then I'm going to take a nap, my head is a little dizzy. Senior, you have a good rest. If you sleep a little longer, I'll come over to see you later." An Ran didn't delay either. She didn't want to wear out her body. She had to stay up late at night.  Looking at the senior.

Even if the senior is fine now, he will probably still have a high fever at night. This high fever will recur. If he is in good condition, it will last for one or two days, and if he is in bad condition, it will last for three or four days.

Seeing An Ran obeying the advice and leaving the room, Cui Zai asked with concern: "How are you? Are you still feeling bad?"

Bai Minxi felt a strong fire rising from his body, his throat hurt, and speaking was much more difficult than before.

Opening his mouth, he tried his best to spit out two words: "It's good!"

"Xiao Jun, you also go to have a rest, I will accompany him, and we will change shifts in the evening." Cui Youzai felt that there was no need for too many people here.

Xiao Jun left the room obediently. He didn't sleep well last night, so he asked the two people in the yard to pay more attention to the two rooms, and then went back to the room and lay down.

When it was getting dark, the two brothers Li Yin came over, but they didn't see Fourth Uncle Li.

They brought a lot of delicious food and deliberately bought a lot of ingredients to avoid any trouble when going out to eat.

When Brother Li Yin arrived, An Ran had already woken up. He went into the room to talk to the senior and walked out of the room after hearing the voices of the two brothers.

"Sister Ran, how is Mr. Bai?" Li Tao asked with great concern.

"It's nothing serious, I'm just a little weak. I just need to rest for a few days." An Ran replied with a smile. Seeing them bring so many ingredients, he put his sleeves up and helped carry them to the kitchen.

Li Yin winked at Li Tao, and Li Tao followed him to help.

With An Ran no longer guarding Bai Minxi, Xiao Jun went in to change shifts. There had to be someone watching over him anyway.

Bai Minxi took medicine and slept peacefully. He didn¡¯t know what was going on outside?

An Ran and Li Tao were handling the ingredients in the kitchen. Seeing that no one was following, Li Tao approached An Ran and asked in a low voice: "Sister Ran, who did this to Mr. Bai?"

"I suspect that Li Bao sent someone to do it, but there is no conclusive evidence now." An Ran did not hide it from Li Tao.

Li Tao thought about it seriously and said: "Second uncle's eldest son and second son are back. These two are not easy to use. I heard that Li Xing was punished by the family leader. They have been doing a lot recently. People in the family  Are you afraid of them and don¡¯t dare to say anything?¡±

"Does the Li family leader not care?" An Ran asked curiously.

"Whatever, if you don't care, it will be even more rampant. The main reason is that the wife of the family is too spoiled to the second uncle. Sometimes the family owner has nothing to do. The second uncle has always been more domineering, but the second uncle can also be said to have made the greatest contribution to the Li family.  Yes, I guess the head of the house has other things in mind." Li Tao didn't understand why the head of the house didn't take it seriously this time. Li Guang and Li Shen had recently intensified their bullying of the younger members of the house.

    Other considerations?

An Ran frowned in confusion and asked curiously: "Why didn't Fourth Uncle Li come with you?"

"It seems that we were called over by the housekeeper's wife. He asked us to come over first. We should arrive later." Li Tao replied truthfully.

An Ran now hopes that Uncle Li will keep a normal mind, otherwise he may be directly eliminated in the reshuffle of the Li family.

Hearing footsteps coming from outside, An Ran and Li Tao stopped talking. After a while, someone entered the kitchen, looked at An Ran cooking, and said with a look of complaint: "Li Tao, how can you let the guests do something?  "

"Yes, yes, Brother De is right. Sister Ran, please go out and wait, I will do it." Li Tao nodded and bowed when he saw the person coming, and turned to wink at Sister Ran.  (Remember the website address: www.hlnovel.com
