"You haven't finished your task today, so don't even think about leaving!"

    "It's so annoying."

He Chi complained, but still walked over obediently and took away the pile of things he wanted to deal with.

It was very quiet in the office, so quiet that the only sounds of the two of them breathing and flipping through files could be heard.

The sky was gradually getting dark.

Jian Ran glanced at the document in her hand, and there was only one left. He Chi looked at it and it was almost completed.

After thinking for a moment, Jian Ran finally picked up her phone and sent Lin Chiyao a message.

Jian Ran: [It¡¯s eight o¡¯clock tonight. I wonder if Mr. Lin is free?  I want to see the matching ring.  ¡¿

As soon as Jian Ran sent it, her phone vibrated before she put it down.

    Lin Chiyao: [Okay.  ¡¿

    "Reply in seconds."

Looking at the word "OK" on the screen, Jian Ran couldn't help but raise the corners of her mouth slightly.

"Why are you laughing again?" After He Chi finished handling the matter, he felt that his whole shoulder and neck were going to be useless. He stood up and did some stretching exercises. He saw Jian Ran holding her cell phone and wondering why she was laughing anymore.

    "free tonight?"

Jian Ran put down her phone and looked at He Chi with a bright smile on her face.

He Chi panicked when he saw this smile.

He lay down on the sofa so hard that he put his hands wide open on the back of the sofa. He looked up to the sky and let out a long sigh and said: "No, I'm going to be exhausted today. I'm really tired today. I have to go to bed early tonight. I don't have time."  No time."

"Oh, okay then, I made an appointment with Mr. Lin to meet you in the evening."

Jian Ran took back the smile on her face, put her fingers on the keyboard, and started to deal with things in a pretentious manner.

    "What! What!"

As soon as He Chi heard the word "Mr. Lin", his eyes widened instantly, he stood up hurriedly, walked towards Jian Ran, put his hands on the table, and said in an imposing manner: "Huh? Did you just  say what!"

"Your mission is completed. If you want to rest, go to bed early. I'm almost done here."

Feeling the invisible pressure emanating from He Chi, Jian Ran still pretended not to know anything and continued to deal with the matter at hand.

"Hey, hey, hey, it's not this sentence! It's the previous sentence, what are you going to do?"

Seeing how Jian Ran ignored him, He Chi snatched the document from her hand and tilted his body slightly downward, wanting to hold her chin and ask for details.

"I made an appointment with Mr. Lin"

"I'm going!" He Chi interrupted Jian Ran's words through gritted teeth, and said with anger on his face: "I'm going too."

Jian Ran playfully took the document from He Chi, picked up the pen, signed it handsomely and freely, put the last document on the table, then stood up and walked to the mirror nearby.

"But, I remember someone just said that I'm not free, I'm so tired, I need to rest." Jian Ran looked at herself in the mirror, ran her hands through her hair, and continued: "I never like to embarrass others, you  If you're really tired, it's better than forcing yourself to participate, really."

"I! One! Point! None! No! Sleepy!"

Knowing that Jian Ran was deliberately making fun of herself, He Chi was still very unhappy.

Withdrawing his hands on the table, he walked towards Jian Ran, folded his hands on his chest, stood in front of her and said, "What time is it?"

"Eight o'clock." Jian Ran looked at it and saw that her clothes were fine today, so she didn't bother to change clothes because it was quite troublesome. "You really don't have to force yourself, really."

    ¡°It¡¯s not forced at all!¡±

Seeing Jian Ran's playful and smiling face and deliberately saying things to make him angry, He Chi was so angry that he gritted his teeth tightly, feeling that if he was torn away from Jian Ran, he would break the teeth.  (Remember the website address: www.hlnovel.com
