    ?

"Mr. Shijin, actually" Nan Mian hesitated for a long time before saying, "I have always had a question that I would like to ask you."

Ten Jin moved his eyes and glanced at Nan Mian.  Nan Mian was looking seriously at him who was shaking the red wine glass.

"Excuse me, I will do my best to answer."

After finishing speaking, Shi Jin lowered his head, ecstatically staring at the red wine glass reflecting the light, and the clear water ripples in the glass.

"What does Mr. Shijin think of that Vlad?" Nan Mian said while nervously observing Shijin's every move, frowning and smiling, for fear that the priority of any word would touch Shijin's warning line  .

"That If it touches your bottom line, please forgive me!"

Shi Jin didn't answer, but just raised his wine glass, looking at the light reflected by the red wine through the thin glass wall.

The gaze hidden under the black-rimmed glasses was so incomprehensible to Nan Mian.

However, what Shi Jin thinks is far less complicated or involves many things than he imagined.

"This child, what he said, what he did, even his hair color and appearance, are all similar to Nan Mian"

"Being treated like a father by such a guy, in other words, Nan Mian should also think so"

From the beginning to the present, Nan Mian has never told Shi Jin his name.

It's also strange to say that not telling Shijin his name is actually not the result of Nan Mian's deliberation, but just a small omission in his dealings with people.

However, it was this small omission that caused the last bit of uncharred spark in Ten Jin's heart to still emit a faint but scorching temperature.

If Nan Mian had told Shi Jin his name before that, that answer would be the last meeting between Shi Jin and them.

In Shi Jin's heart, he is not worthy to be called "father". He just wants Bei Mian and Nan Mian to forget about himself and the stumbling blocks that once hindered their future, just as Lu Xun said before his death:

"Hurry up and restrain yourself, don't do anything commemorative. Bury it, pull it down, forget about me, take care of your own life, don't be a fool."

Ten Jin made such a decision with Mr. Lu Xun's consciousness in mind.  However, all his sorrow and determination are only for these two girls.  The decision he made was to "die" in the world of those two girls.

His existence, in his own opinion, will only become the remaining chains and obstacles on the future road of Beimian and Nanmian, meaningless.

Just like a sad summer night dream, from the time of waking up, they have become passers-by in their world and have nothing to do with them.

In a certain corner covered by shadows, there may be lamented helplessness.

But it was a decision made for them, and their happiness, even if it cannot be touched, should be watched from afar.

    "I envy him"

Before he knew it, Shi Jin murmured.

    "Veryenvious? Does that mean?"

"I envy him that he has something that he can do his best to protect." Shi Jin turned his head, his eyes, like Bingfeng, were filled with the temperature of staring, "And, he can burn himself to death for that thing."

"I think that's not something worth yearning for." Nan Mian retorted.

"That, to me, is a future that I will never see."

Nan Mian couldn't help biting his lower lip when he heard this.

The sound of Shijin is like the clear ice water in the snow field. It seems that the throat can feel the cold touch. Ice crystals float along the white gas, and the whole neck seems to be slowly frozen from the inside.

Such sadness, but I have to let it go.

Just like, on Christmas Eve, when the warm light shines through the windows of the hut on a snowy night, the child sitting alone in the wind and snow looks into the distance, waiting for the parents who have already determined that it is impossible to go home.

"All I can do for them is to escape." (Remember the URL of this website: www.hlnovel.com
