    Hordolin's Elegy: "Bread and Wine")

Time constantly turns all existence into memories.  For Luo Zi, these lonely trips are like a wonderful dream.  Now, the dream is over, and the plane is about to take off, sending him back to the land of reality.  The moment the plane took off, he felt that he was as light as a gas. It was such a rare and wonderful feeling.  Soon, the lonely night sky in the northwest, the distant snow-capped mountains, and the Gobi Desert covered with camel thorns were left behind, on the other side of the night.

Prior to this, Rhodes also made a shockingly important decision-he rejected the invitation of the Rockefeller Foundation.  Because many conditions of this foundation are unacceptable to him, for example, he is required to give up his nationality, and he is not allowed to participate in any activities not arranged by the foundation, even if it has nothing to do with art.  All works created by him since then, regardless of exhibitions, publications, transactions, or donations, must be handled by the Foundation at its sole discretion.  Even the choice of his residence and studio has to be selected and arranged by the company.

That is to say, according to the requirements of the foundation's various terms, he will be nothing more than their painting tool.

There is no doubt that they will package him better and give him enough money to allow him to enjoy higher honor and status internationally.  But they deprived him of his identity as a Chinese, his freedom as an artist, and his dignity as a Chinese painter.  Any of these aspects is unbearable for him.

During his tour in the Northwest, Luo Zi accepted an interview with Gansu TV Station and announced his decision.  And through Gansu TV Station, his video and audio recordings were transferred to Washington TV Station in the United States, National TV Station in Canada and my TV Station in Australia.  His visit to Washington to receive a certificate of honor from the Rockefeller Foundation will also be postponed indefinitely.

Before the plane took off, Roz called Joan again.

These days, she is very excited, and her laughter can always be heard on the phone.  She said that she was busy and had successfully completed some important things.

He understands her job, and everything needs to be meticulous, but basically maintains a constant state.  Her excitement certainly wasn't from work.  Every time she talked on the phone, her voice was so light and joyful.  She has changed.

This change makes people like it.

"Little girl, will you really come to pick me up?"

    "of course!"

"What are you wearing? Blue, I guess?"

"Of course, the pink and blue one!"

    That's his favorite.

After knowing that he liked that dress, she once bought two more of the same color and different styles.

After Luo Zi arrived in Haicheng City, a gray Buick car took him and Joan to a large villa on the seashore.

This is Li En's villa.  Li En's wife will return from Canada tomorrow, and to celebrate, he has prepared a small weekend reception.  I said "small", but actually quite a few people came, many of whom Luo Zi didn't know.

There is actually a reason why Li En gave Luo Zi such courtesy.  Because Luo Zi gave up the invitation of Rockefeller Company, he got the opportunity to become the resident painter of Rockefeller Company Art Academy.

The Buick drove all the way to the front of the main building of the villa, and Li En, dressed in a white suit, came out to greet them.  He grabbed Luo Zi's arm: "Good guy, is it because you won't come back if I don't tell you?"

Then, he looked at Joan meaningfully: "Welcome, Miss Joan! I have known you for several years, and it is a great honor to meet you today. You are so beautiful, no wonder Luo Zi is fascinated!"

Li En wanted to give Joan a western-style hug, but Joan avoided it skillfully.

She knows how he sees her and the relationship between her and Luo Zi.  In order to repay him in a small way, she deliberately pretended not to know the identity of the master, and complimented: "Oh, it is really an honor for Luo Zi to befriend a tycoon like you!"

Li En spread his hands and shrugged: "Where, we are all poor artists, but I am not as good as him. He is willing to come, and brought you, which is really a compliment! As for these," he waved his huge arm in the air  Turn around, "It's all my wife's. It's pathetic to engage in art! Come on, let's go over there!"

When Li En walked forward, Luo Zi whispered to Joan: "Li En is divorced and married his current wife. She is Canadian Chinese and plans to settle in Haicheng City."

The back has been set up on the grass., I saw Roz's "village girl" talking: "Beauvoir wrote a film: "Mortal". The heroine is a famous actor, but the hero is almost a fantasy character: he has  has been living in the world for centuries. I think this movie seems to express Beauvoir's own consciousness."

    "Yeah?"

Joan saw that everyone was interested, so she briefly introduced the story of the movie: a woman fell in love with a man, and wanted to use him and this love to obtain her own eternal life.  But when she finally agreed to meet him on the bridge, the man disappeared forever, and the woman had to jump off the bridge

She continued: "That's it. The whole purpose of a woman is to love a man, a man who lives forever. He is forever. She wants to be loved by him, to live in his heart. In this way, she can live forever.  , love can be forever. Otherwise, her life and existence, as well as her creation, are meaningless. But she failed. The man who fell in love with her, in the early morning of a certain day, at the bridge  disappeared. She can no longer be immortal because of his immortality"

This story has a sad atmosphere.

Li En's face was particularly ugly, and such a topic made him somewhat embarrassed.  He is the kind of man that women often put their beautiful fantasies on, and his tall and handsome appearance seems to be an ideal screen image.

Someone understands why this reception is held today.

This is Li En's last carnival before entering a new married life.

Luo Zi looked at everyone and wanted to change the atmosphere.  He squeezed Joan's hand tightly with one hand, and said to everyone: "No matter what is the result of a man or what is the result of a woman, 'nothing can stop us from devoting ourselves to love, because it is still the most beautiful thing in the world.  .' That's what a French woman writer said."

"It was Marguerite Duras who said it." Allin interjected.

"Yes, it's Duras who wrote "The Lover." Luo Zi put Joan's hand on his lips and kissed it, and said to everyone: "Why are you still not moving? Come, drink, and go online!"

Everyone knocked the foot of the wine glass on the glass turntable, making a lot of noise.  (Remember the site URL: www.hlnovel.com
