Before Jacques returned to Shenzhen, we went to the book shopping center together.  He suggested that I buy a book on law, but instead I bought another, unrelated book: The Time Finder.

The thought at that moment was probably like this: If I have nothing, it means that I don't even have time.  If I had time, a lot of time, then I would rethink the first half of my life-although it was so short, only thirteen years.

I don't know what book it is about, but for some reason, it was the title of the book that immediately moved me.

I whispered in Jacques' ear, "Lend me the money, and I'll take it."

Jacques is not only smart, but also very gentlemanly.  He bought the book, wrote on the title page: "Jacques to Altman", and wrote the time.  In this way, I do not owe him money, and we have a very meaningful memorial between us.

We took the subway to Tianhe Railway Station with Jacques. After getting out of the subway, we went from the center of the earth to the surface again and sent him to the entrance of the Guangzhou-Shenzhen high-speed train.

Jacques took the initiative to hug us.  I sincerely thanked him, and he said: "Altman, don't leave yet, okay? At least, wait until Xiao Gen's reply arrives, and understand the situation over there, and then talk about it, okay?"

"But, what's the point? It doesn't help the matter! If I go back by myself, at least they can see my courage. I'm not a coward, and I don't intend to walk away. I went back and faced it.  It was something I did, and I took it upon myself I thought, that way, it would be easier for everyone."

Jacques told me to listen to him and stay.

He also said: "If you don't leave, I will teach you how to find your father."

I widened my eyes: "Do you know how to find it?"

    "Of course I know!"

Jacques said, turned around and entered the station, winked at me, and made a V-shaped gesture, and we did the same.

He turned around and was immediately overwhelmed by the rushing flow of people. The channel was like a huge straw, quickly sucking away the continuous flow of people.

What the hell does Jacques know?

    I am puzzled.

It took me only two days to finish reading that book.  There is a child named Gigi, a musical genius, in order to give time as a birthday gift to his mother, with the help of elves, he went to an eternal place.  He found the time and met all the elves in the legend, all because of music, music that is more important than life, history, and everything in the world.

The music written in the book is traditional Irish music.  It reminds me of a song my father played on the harmonica when I was a child, called "The Bagpipe Player".  As soon as the music starts, your feet can't help but dance to its rhythm.

The stories in this book took me to another dream.

I walked to the video store near Black Edinburgh, and it provided the music that entered my ears every evening.  I said to the pretty lady inside, I want to hear Irish bagpipes.  She asked me if I would buy it.  Obviously, generally speaking, if you don't buy it, she's not going to talk to you.  But I was lucky that day, there were no other customers in the store, and she probably got tired of listening to Jay Chou, so she played the music disc I wanted.  The two loudspeakers of the video store are placed at the entrance, two tall speakers, one facing the outside.

I sat down on the steps of the store, and soon heard the familiar tune from my childhood, and "Blackmore Nights," "Best Time," "Celtic Dreams," and many others, which  Like feathers floating in the air, those male and female voices seem to be reciting ancient and strange poems, telling some mysterious stories, stories that we only meet in legends and strange dreams, like blue  The gentle wind in autumn has been entering your ears and body, making you a little sad and too excited to speak.  Among them, "The Silver Dagger" sung by Sally Oldfield is my favorite.

Many times in the future, when I walk on the street, step on the pedestrian bridge, or trot along the street at dusk, this piece of music will sound and accompany me.

I just listened, listened.  It was getting dark, and the pretty lady who had no business came out and stood beside me, looking at me.  I look up.

"Aren't you going home yet?" she said.

I didn't speak, stood up and prepared to leave.

She added: "If this is my shop, I'll give you this disc."

My heart suddenly became hot.  Just now, I thought she was going to drive me away.

"What's its name?" I asked the disc, "I'll buy it as soon as I have money."Let's go.

He yelled at me again, and I hurried away.

Such a beautiful and delicate pup, as beautiful as a fake, is completely different from the loyal and brave dog companion in my mind!

The place where I used to squat with Jacques and Ah Huang is now occupied by a fortune teller in a yellow silk Tang suit.

I have observed him for a long time.

He has long hair, a little goatee on his chin, and sits on a small stool with his back against the railing.  The felt hat on the head seemed to be full of dust, and the Tang suit was worn every day, and it was dirty, like the curtains on the stage that have been used for too long.

His face was much darker than when I first saw it, like leather.

Every time I see him, I feel that he is getting older, his skin is getting drier and harder.

Perhaps this is the difference between city people and country people, people in the past and people in the present.  Those people in my memory will always be the same, they will not grow old.

His business is in twos and threes, and sometimes he looks around blankly.  Usually, there will be a wage earner or a wage earner squatting in front of him, stretching out his palms to the bottom of his eyes, and he will hold them, watching and talking, and he or she will listen reverently and fearfully.  He analyzed their palms, chatted with them, and asked them all about their deceptions and other setbacks.  Then, mysteriously, they talked about their future fate, and some other words, so that they had to take out the money with a heavy heart.

I have long seen his tricks.

However, he is not a bad guy.  The money those wage earners can give him is also very limited.

Sometimes, he would flip through the books on his lap, which were dirty and torn, and must have been used for a long time.  He was still marking with a pen, looking very professional and dedicated.  People like me who are curious about everything, of course have to go up and take a look: it is "Zhuge Shensuan".
