    ?

October 7th, the last day of the National Day holiday.  In the morning, I accompanied my father to the hospital in the town.  During the infusion, the nurse saw his father's abnormally pale hands and asked, "Is the old man severely anemic?"

"It should be." I'm not very sure, but it looks like it should be.

"In this case, it is best to have a blood transfusion." The nurse kindly reminded.

"Oh, but, why didn't the doctor mention the blood transfusion?" I replied with some doubts.

"Then I don't know why. However, even if blood transfusion is required, we can't transfuse it here." The nurse replied in a murmur.

    "Why?" I asked puzzled.

"In a small hospital like ours, how many people will come here for blood transfusion? Therefore, under normal circumstances, we don't store blood here."

"Oh" I replied, and then I secretly gave up my plan to ask the doctor here.  Because, even the doctor thinks a blood transfusion is necessary, and it can't be done here anyway, so why should I bother with it!

I carried my father home again, and I immediately got busy with housework.  After lunch, my third uncle and I came to the side of the road and launched a final charge, trying to pick all the remaining peanuts before returning to the city.

At around four o'clock in the afternoon, the final annihilation battle finally ended victoriously.  Looking at the mountain of peanut vines behind me, a warm feeling rose in my heart again.  If it weren't for the selfless assistance of the neighbors, it is estimated that it will not be able to complete such a difficult labor task in another three or four days.  The bursts of burning pain from the damaged part of my hand caused by the friction with the rhizome could not conceal the joy in my heart at this moment.  I know that from now on, my mother can finally take care of my father without any worries.

With no time to rest, he took his wife and children to the city on a motorcycle.  Because of the headlights, I don't want to be bothered by the endless darkness.

Back home in the urban area, I was so exhausted that I sat down on the sofa.  First, make a phone call to report to your parents that you are safe, and then close your eyes and rest up.  However, after only resting for a while, I realized that I seemed to have forgotten a very important thing.  So I immediately called my sister.

"Sister, when I was in the hospital today, the nurse who hung the water said that Dad's anemia seems to be quite serious."

"Well, these days, I also feel that something is wrong. Dad's hands seem to be abnormally white."

"The nurse said that if the anemia is severe, it is best to have a blood transfusion. What should I do? Do we need a blood transfusion?" When encountering a major problem that is difficult to make a decision, the first thing I think of is my sister.

"Whether it's a blood transfusion or not, it's best not to jump to a conclusion. I'll check the relevant information right away to see what are the pros and cons of blood transfusion?"

I know what my sister means, and it is not a bad thing to be cautious, so I don't raise any objections to it.  "Sister, the nurse also said that they don't have blood in stock, so if you want to transfuse blood, you have to go to the Municipal People's Hospital."

"Let's wait until the blood transfusion is decided."

Hearing this, I immediately explained: "I'm just telling you. The point is that my cousin will go to Tianjin in the next two days. If we really go to the Municipal People's Hospital then we have to find a way to solve the traffic problem first."  It's a tool problem."

"Don't worry, if we really go to the Municipal People's Hospital at that time, then we will have to figure out a solution for the car problem."

Although I have already told my sister about the matter, I always feel that the anemia incident does not seem to be a good omen.  If it weren't for the past few days, my father's performance has been much better than before going to Nanjing, then I must have been apprehensive at that time.

My sister is a biology student, and her general knowledge in all aspects is much better than mine. With her to collect the pros and cons of blood transfusion, I am naturally relieved.  It's just that the waiting is quite torturous.  I no longer have the mood to sit on the sofa and rest.  I walked back and forth in the living room, shaking until my wife and children complained.

It seems that my sister still put a lot of thought into it, and she didn't call me until the next day.  According to my sister, this blood transfusion is still very risky, and the most frightening thing is that it may cause internal bleeding, which may even be life-threatening in severe cases.  Such a huge risk is not something we can afford.  Therefore, my sister and I agreed that blood transfusion should not be considered for the time being.

"But, sister, Dad's anemia does seem to be quite serious. Could it be that we just let it go like this?" I asked with some worry and doubt.

"Of course we can't ignore it. The consequences of severe anemia are also very serious!" My sister replied decisively.

"But if there is no blood transfusion, then how can we solve Dad's anemia problem?" I continued to ask puzzled.

"Actually, there are many ways to solve the problem of anemia. Blood transfusion is just the fastest effective one. After careful analysis and comparison, I think diet therapy should be the safest one." My sister replied methodically.

"Yes, yes, yes! Now, what Dad needs is the safest and safest method!" I hurriedly echoed excitedly, "Just, how about diet therapy?"

My sister had guessed that I would ask this question a long time ago, so she continued to say unhurriedly: "Red-skinned peanuts, red dates, black rice, carrots, etc. are all good products for nourishing blood. I found that the black rice at home seems to be almost gone.  When I go back this weekend, I¡¯d better buy some and take them home.¡±

"It's easy to handle. I'll go to the supermarket to buy it tonight. I didn't expect that these blood supplements are the most common and common foods." I said excitedly.  Since it is very common, diet therapy is naturally much easier.

"In addition to diet therapy, drinking traditional Chinese medicine is actually a good choice." My sister continued.

After hearing this, I said with some embarrassment: "But, Dad is already taking traditional Chinese medicine! It's not necessarily true. The two Chinese medicines should be fried and eaten together?"

"I didn't say to prescribe traditional Chinese medicine again!" Seeing that I didn't understand what she meant, my sister said a little unhappy.

"Then, what do you mean?" I asked puzzled.

"Is the list of traditional Chinese medicine Xu Hefen prescribed last time with you?" My sister asked without answering.

"Yes! What are you doing?" My doubts became even worse.

"Give it to me when you have time. I'll check to see if there is any blood-enriching ingredient in the traditional Chinese medicine Xu Hefen prescribed?"

Hearing this, I finally understood what my sister meant.

Before I finished "oh", my sister continued to ask: "When I went to Nanjing last time, did you notice that Dad's hands are as pale as they are now?"

"Of course I noticed. At that time, Dad's hands were abnormally white. It's just that now Dad's hands seem to be even more bloodless." I replied truthfully.  (Remember the site URL: www.hlnovel.com
