    ?

Although talking while eating, my speed is still very fast.  Before my sister responded, I wiped my mouth and hit the road.

As soon as I got to the ward, I hurriedly urged my mother to go back to sleep.

Experience is accumulated slowly. It is precisely because of seeing relatives and friends on the bed in the south who come to visit the patient but have no place to sit, that the young man and I realized what the ward still lacks.  Therefore, with his mother watching over him, the young man went outside and bought a small plastic square stool for emergencies.  I knew that sooner or later someone would come to visit my father, so I immediately called my wife and asked her to buy a few small plastic square stools when she was free.

Lying on the bed all the time, while enduring the pain, all my father can feel is boredom.  As the saying goes, much ado about nothing, to put it in a vulgar way, father started to find something to do when he was too idle.

"In the past few days, the nurse seems to send the statement every morning, isn't it?" the father asked lightly.

"Yes, there are the amount of each item used every day and our account balance." I explained disapprovingly.

"Oh, show it to me quickly." Hearing this, the father seemed to regain his energy immediately, and urged him a little hastily.

When I saw this, I just rummaged through the bedside table.

"I'll find them all!" The father added with some worry.

"Hmm." I responded casually while arranging the statements I found in chronological order.

    "Done yet?"

It seems that my father is still in a hurry.  "OK OK."

"Okay, then hurry up and bring it here!" Father urged again impatiently.

In addition to being stubborn, my father's temper has another notable feature, that is, urgency.  At this moment, the father's impatient temper was undoubtedly revealed.  Knowing my father's temper well, I immediately handed the statement of accounts that had been arranged in order but had not yet been aligned to my father.

After my father got it, he looked at it very carefully.

"How did you spend more than 20,000 yuan on April 8?" My father asked with some doubts.

"Dad, you forgot, April 8th is the day you had your operation. Of course it was used a lot." I explained patiently from the side.

"Oh, I used a lot on the 9th and 10th of April, more than 1,000 a day!" My father murmured with some heartache.

"These two days are in the intensive care unit, so the cost will naturally be more." I said without losing the opportunity.

"Then the cost of the next two days will be quite a lot, and it will be nearly one thousand." My father said while watching.

"The first two days after I got out of the intensive care unit, I had infusions 24 hours a day. The cost of medicine is so expensive now!" I explained with emotion.

Seeing that my father's frowning gradually eased, I went on to say: "Afterwards, the cost will be much less. I asked the attending physician, and he said that the medication will be less in the future, and it will basically be less in the end.  I don¡¯t use much medicine anymore, so the daily expenses will only get less and less.¡± Zhifu Mo Ru¡¯er, I knew why my father was so concerned about the cost, so I spoke out to comfort my father.

"Hey, I've spent more than 30,000 yuan. The account balance is only three or four thousand yuan. Is there any problem with your funds? Why don't I ask your mother to give you five thousand yuan first"

Hearing this, I interrupted my father without hesitation.  "Dad, you don't need to worry about money. Keep your money for yourself. After leaving the hospital, if you want to take care of your health (buy some food and supplements), then you don't have to spend money."

"The remaining three or four thousand will probably not last for a few days." My father muttered worriedly.

"Your family still has some leftovers. Our family is already in arrears." Hearing this, the young man finally couldn't help but interjected.

"You are already in arrears?" the father asked as if to prove it.

"Not bad!" The young man replied very positively.

"Then how much do you use in total in your family now?" Father's interest seemed to rise again.

"It's nearly 40,000." The young man said truthfully.

"Isn't our operation the same? How could it be so much more than ours?" The father asked again with disbelief on his face, "Can you show me your family's statement?"

"Of course! It's not a dark secret. There's nothing you can't see." The young man replied generously, and then gave his father one by one the statements they had made these days.

Father compared and contrasted very carefully.  "On the day of the operation, your family used thousands more than us. Then when you were in the intensive care unit, you used a lot more than us. After that, basically?Almost there.  "My father said to himself while watching.

I can see the faint smile on my father's face.  I know that my father is happy because our family has less expenses.

"Your family already owes thousands of dollars!" The father suddenly realized something was wrong and exclaimed.

The young man knew what his father meant.  "It's okay. There is rural insurance, and a large part of it can be reimbursed. I asked the doctor. If it is true that the payment cannot be prescribed due to arrears, the nurse will come to press for the payment. On the other hand, if there is no reminder, it means that  The part that can be reimbursed is counted, and there is no arrears, so there is no need to add money to the account." The young man explained unhurriedly.

What the young man said made my father completely relieved, because we are also on rural insurance, and his family already owes nearly 10,000 yuan, and the nurse has not yet urged the money, so my father estimated that the balance of our family would be enough to support us for a long time.

Since then, the minor turmoil caused by the statement of accounts has come to an end.  However, since then, my father has mentioned this matter many times, and in his words, he is even more full of praise for the attending physician who is both careful and saves money for patients.

In the afternoon, apart from looking at the infusion bottle and beating food, I just helped my father wipe his saliva and turn over, and there was almost nothing else to do.  Of course, these few things are enough for me to keep busy.

During this period, my sister gave me a call.

"My cousin called to remind us to pay attention, saying that the old man (referring to the father) is lying down now, and we must not let the old lady (referring to the mother) get tired and lay down because of taking care of the father."

"Well, it makes sense. In fact, when I was on duty with my mother, I tried to let her sleep for a while." Naturally, I also cared about my mother, so I agreed with my cousin's point of view.

"It's just that I'm worried that Dad's esophageal cancer was a heavy blow to Mom, and now she's on duty at night Mom's not the same as you, she's not young anymore. I'm afraid, Mom won't be able to take it anymore.  !¡± My sister continued to explain.

"Sister, what you said is very reasonable. But, if Mom doesn't come over, how should I arrange the shift at night?" I asked with some embarrassment.  (Remember the site URL: www.hlnovel.com
