[Review of the past] Li Xiaoming's parents have gone to work. Li Xiaoming and Doubao are playing, watching TV and chatting in the room together. They are very happy.

Then Li Xiaoming asked Doubao many questions. Doubao was very patient and answered every question seriously.

They watched cartoons and ate together in the morning, and Doubao accompanied Li Xiaoming to do homework together. They quickly became very good friends.

In the evening, there was a light rain outside, and the temperature dropped sharply.  Li Xiaoming was worried that Doubao would get sick, so he let Doubao into the house to sleep with him.

In the middle of the night, Li Xiaoming and Doubao were lying on the bed, embracing each other to keep warm, and fell asleep soundly.

What they didn't know was that the door of the room was opened secretly, and Li Xiaoming's parents walked in cautiously.

With a smile on her lips, Li Xiaoming's mother covered the two friends with quilts.

Then the couple walked out of the room lightly, and the two little ones fell asleep without disturbing them at all.

Li Xiaoming's mother wiped her tears and said happily: "Husband! Our child has become much more active recently, thanks to you for finding this beaver."

"Beavers are docile animals, and they will become good friends." Li Xiaoming's father said.

The couple felt very relieved. Their heart disease seemed to be gradually healed with the bean buns.

The next day, Xiao Ming's parents went to work, and the weather was much warmer. The sun rose from the sky, and the surrounding was very warm and comfortable.

Doubao and Li Xiaoming were basking in the sun in the back garden, chatting and playing games.

At this time, Doubao heard the call.  Doubao looked up, and saw an old man in a black coat outside the fence in the garden.

"Oh, this is Grandpa Wang next door." Li Xiaoming secretly said to Doubao as if he was facing an enemy, "Grandpa Wang has a very strange temper. I don't like to play with him at all. Mom and Dad also told me not to talk to him."

Grandpa Wang stood by the fence, smiled and said to Li Xiaoming: "Xiao Ming, it's rare to come out to bask in the sun today. Grandpa wants to ask you, what kind of animal is that next to you?"

Xiao Ming quickly hid the bean bag behind his back and stammered, "It's my good friend. His name is Dou Bao."

"Doubao, that's a good name." Grandpa Wang said to himself, his eyes were as sharp and vicious as an eagle's.  Doubao felt that this human being was scary, reminding him of the two villains that night.

Grandpa Wang said again: "Xiao Ming! This animal seems to be called a beaver. I heard that the meat of the beaver is very delicious."

Li Xiaoming was a little angry. He said angrily: "Doubao is my good friend! I don't know how to eat it. It's been said on TV that people and animals should live in harmony, and you must not harm small animals."

Grandpa Wang laughed loudly and didn't speak, but those vicious eyes kept staring at the bean buns.

Li Xiaoming hurriedly took the bean bag and ran back to his small room.

Li Xiaoming quickly locked the door of the room, patted his little chest and said, "Doubao, this Grandpa Wang is terrible. Let's stay away from him in the future. I heard from my mother that he used to be a butcher, and he often went to catch wild animals to go home."  .¡±

Doubao nodded and said, "I know, I'll go back this Saturday, and we've been avoiding Grandpa Wang for the past few days."

Li Xiaoming sat on the ground, wiped the sweat from his forehead, and held Doubao's hand reluctantly: "Doubao, I really miss you." (Remember the website website: www.hlnovel.com
