    ?

After Xiong Xiaoxiao and Xiong Xiaozhi sent everyone away, they each finished washing, Xiong Xiaozhi slept on the sofa, and Xiong Xiaoxiao went back to his room.

Originally, she yawned a few times and felt very sleepy, but she woke up as soon as her head touched the pillow. She was still sober, more sober than someone playing drums and gongs in her ear.

It was as if some kind of monster suddenly rose from the depths of her soul, casting a vicious curse in her heart.

She squinted her eyes, feeling that danger was lurking everywhere in the room.

The bland wardrobe, bookcase, and even the desk drawers seem to be pushed open by monsters hiding in them, and if she falls asleep, these monsters will sneak out!

Xiong Xiaoxiao sat up from the bed suddenly, turned on the light, and looked around the room nervously.

Don't scare yourself She squeezed the quilt tightly with her hands and pulled it to her chest, meditating in her heart, her eyes still looking around nervously.

However, this kind of self-comfort did not calm her down, and finally she couldn't help but screamed and cried.

This scream startled Xiong Xiaozhi who was fiddling with his mobile phone on the sofa in the living room. He hurried to Xiong Xiaoxiao's door and asked:

    "What's wrong!? What happened?"

Just then there was a rush of footsteps coming from the house, followed by the door slamming open, Xiong Xiaoxiao hugged Xiong Xiaozhi tightly without saying a word, and buried her head in his arms.

Xiong Xiaozhi squatted down quickly, touched Xiong Xiaoxiao's head with one hand, scanned the room, and found nothing unusual, so he knew that Xiong Xiaoxiao was afraid.

"Don't be afraid, brother is here." Xiong Xiaozhi said softly.

Although Xiong Xiaoxiao looks very powerful on weekdays, he is actually a very timid person. In private, he is just a little girl who is normally coquettish and afraid.

After being comforted by Xiong Xiaozhi, Xiong Xiaoxiao let go of his hand, walked to the side of the bed, and slowly got into the bed again.

Seeing that she was lying down, Xiong Xiaozhi was about to close the door and go out, when suddenly he heard a thunderstorm outside the window, followed by Xiong Xiaoxiao's scream.

Xiong Xiaozhi hastily opened the door and ran in, watching the lightning outside the window suddenly turn the world into a silvery white, his eyes were so dazzled that he couldn't see clearly.

"Brother is with you, don't be afraid." Xiong Xiaozhi sat sideways beside Xiong Xiaoxiao's bed, reached out and patted Xiong Xiaoxiao's shoulder lightly.

Xiong Xiaozhi curled up beside Xiong Xiaozhi wrapped in a quilt like a little milk cat, every thunder made her shiver involuntarily.

Xiong Xiaozhi patted her on the shoulder lightly to comfort her, and murmured, "Why is there a sudden thunder in this season?"

Before the words were finished, the pouring rain poured down, and the raindrops slammed on the windows, with an astonishing momentum.

The sound of rain and thunder was mixed together, and it had a hypnotic effect after getting used to it. In addition, his brother had been softly coaxing beside him, and Xiong Xiaoxiao fell asleep not long after.

Hearing Xiong Xiaoxiao's even and steady breathing, Xiong Xiaozhi knew that his sister had fallen asleep. He moved his slightly sore arms, stood up carefully, walked to the door on tiptoe, and turned off the headlight in the room.  The lamp by the bed was left behind.

Gently closing the door, Xiong Xiaozhi returned to the sofa and let out a long sigh of relief.  Suddenly, I noticed something shaking on the balcony, so I ran over to have a look.

After looking at it, it turned out that the window of the balcony had been forgotten, and the clothes hanging there were shaking vigorously by the wind.

Xiong Xiaozhi closed the windows, and simply checked every room in the house to make sure that the doors and windows were closed, and then returned to the sofa, and fell headfirst on the soft quilt.

There is a smell of moth balls with lavender smell on the bedding, which is vaguely pungent, but somewhat nostalgic.

This smell reminded him of his mother, although she had already become a blurred image, but that smell was hard to forget.

Xiong Xiaozhi didn't know what would happen in the future, but he knew clearly that he had to protect his sister.

For Xiong Xiaozhi, who has just turned sixteen, he also feels the same pressure.  (Remember the site URL: www.hlnovel.com
