Chapter 71 The Bold and Small Mountain Ranger

    ?

The fiery scarlet demon with its black tail shuttles freely between the mountains, very happy.  Fang Xiaoyuan led eight wind monsters to chase after it.  The strange thing is that the fiery scarlet demon didn't go straight to the fairy city, but circled in the mountains instead.

"Something's wrong!" Fang Xiaoyuan said, flashing to the right of a mountain peak, "I seem to have been to this place before."

The speed of the fire-red monster is faster than that of the wind-type monster, but they have not been able to get rid of them for a long time.  Whenever it was about to disappear into a small dot in the distance, it would poke its head out from behind the next mountain, or reveal a small black smoke-like tail, as if it was deliberately waiting for them.

Fang Xiaoyuan vaguely felt that the red fire demon was teasing her, but she had no choice but to continue to follow it.  The wind-shaped monster kept flying at a high speed, circling between the mountains, gradually exhausted.  Compared with the fire scarlet demon, they still have to carry the "heavy burden" of Fang Xiaoyuan, and their energy is consumed very quickly.

"No, it will easily get rid of us if it goes on like this." Fang Xiaoyuan said.

She looked around, pointed to a short mountain covered with vegetation next to a towering mountain not far away, and said to the wind monsters, "Let's go around there and hide in the woods."

Taking advantage of the red monster's further distance, they didn't follow after it. Instead, they circled behind the high mountain while it was not paying attention, descended while circling, and finally landed in the dense forest on the top of the short mountain.  The Huo Scarlet Demon flew forward for a while, turned to look back, and found that the colorful light cluster that had been following it had disappeared, immediately stopped the car, turned around and flew back.

Fang Xiaoyuan lay on the branch of the tree, looked up to the sky through the gaps between the leaves, and was relieved to see the red smoke with a small tail flashing through the air and did not notice them.

"Didn't you say that our task is to attract the attention of the red fire demon? What's the matter with hiding now?" A wind-shaped demon asked in confusion, causing all the demons to nod their heads.

Fang Xiaoyuan frowned.  Their task was indeed to lure the fiery scarlet demon to the barren hills, but the current situation had changed.  This fiery red demon was clever and eccentric, and turned his back on customers. Not only did he not keep up with them, but he walked them around in circles.  If it goes on like this, it won't be long before the wind-type monster exhausts its strength, but it will never be able to catch up with it.

Consuming the enemy to exhaustion can easily win the battle. In the last battle, Grandpa Tu used this trick to catch them all and seal them underground.  After so many years, the Huo Scarlet Demon has also become smarter and learned this method.

Just as Fang Xiaoyuan was thinking about how to deal with the fiery scarlet demon who had fled from the team, a shout suddenly came from under the tree.

"Hey! Who are you?!" A white mist similar to Xiaoyan's figure slowly floated up from under the tree, stopped in front of their eyes, and asked loudly with one hand on his hips, "What are you doing here furtively?"  ?!"

It held a trident in its hand, and its eyes were wide open, resembling the sea god in ancient mythology, but its appearance did not match the sea god.  The smoke-shaped monster wobbled closer to Fang Xiaoyuan, looked it over carefully, then moved to the wind-shaped monster.

"Wind-type monster?" It murmured, returned to Fang Xiaoyuan, and continued to stare at her non-stop, "What kind of fairy are you? Are you bringing so many wind-type monsters here to cause trouble?"

Fang Xiaoyuan shook her head quickly, "No, you misunderstood. We just want to rest here for a while, and we won't stay for too long."

"Fairies are not allowed to enter the mountain area privately, even if they stay." The smoke-shaped monster said solemnly with a straight face, "Please show your pass."

Naturally, they don't have a pass. You look at me and I look at you, and you have no idea what this white mist-like goblin is talking about.

"You must leave without a pass!" He pointed his trident at them and shouted, "Now! Immediately! Immediately!"

The wind monsters who had just left Prison Sand Mountain had never seen this formation before, and they were frightened for a while.  Soon, however, their rebellious nature gets the upper hand.  The tallest one stood up, reached out and pushed the smoke-shaped monster hard, almost causing it to fall to the ground, and said with a smile, "We won't leave, what can you do?"

"That's right, I won't leave!" Seeing this, the other goblins agreed one after another, and surrounded the smoke-shaped goblin.

The smoke-shaped monster was pressed by them step by step, its back hit the tree trunk, and the leaves above its head swayed and made rustling noises.

"Hush!" Sitting on the branch of a tree, Fang Xiaoyuan signaled them to keep their voices down. It would be bad if they disturbed the red fire demon who was still circling in the air looking for them, but none of them responded to her.

The smoke-shaped monster was one-on-eight, and soon fell into the disadvantaged. The wind-shaped monster forced him to a corner and taunted him with one word after another. Gradually, he couldn't bear it anymore and shouted loudly, "Don't blame me for being rude if you continue to do this!"

As if the smoke-shaped demon had made up his mind, he closed his eyes, folded his hands on his chest, and shouted with all his strength, "Teacher! Help!"

It turned out that this smoke-shaped monster was a student at the spell school. It was about to graduate and went to the mountainous area to learn skills from the teacher in preparation for becoming a competent forest ranger in the future. Unexpectedly, it encountered this group of unreasonable intruders on the first day of patrol.  By.

Its shouts shuttled through the forest, and soon, another larger smoke-shaped monster came from a distance, and it arrived under the tree in a short while.  The trapped smoke-shaped monster immediately aimed at the gap between the two wind-shaped monsters and escaped, hid behind the big goblin, pointed at them and said, "Teacher, these wind-shaped monsters ran into the woods to make trouble.  Let them go and they won't go."

"Hahahaha!" Seeing this, several wind-shaped monsters laughed so hard that they leaned forward and regretted, "I thought you had some skills, but it turned out that you just complained and found only useless fairies like you! Hahaha!"

As soon as the words were finished, the big smoke-shaped monster clasped his hands together and said a word silently. The white mist spread from behind it, like countless outstretched arms, fixed the few wind-shaped monsters, and surrounded them densely.  Before they could react, the thick mist fused together and turned into a large transparent glass bottle, trapping them firmly inside.

The wind-shaped demon had never seen this thing before. It desperately knocked on the glass bottle and jumped up and down inside, but it couldn't get out no matter what.

"Hmph, I told you to be imposing, now you're afraid!" The little smoke-shaped monster walked to the glass bottles, stuck out its tongue at them and made faces, very unhappy.

Fang Xiaoyuan, who was sitting on a tree branch, quickly jumped down and stood in front of the two smoke-shaped monsters.  The little man was startled, and immediately hid behind the teacher, muttering softly, "I forgot there was a fairy on the tree"

The big smoke-shaped demon was about to make a move, Fang Xiaoyuan took out the golden seven-pointed star badge from his pocket, and handed it to it to see, "We are not here to make trouble, but we have never been here before, and we don't know that we need a pass to enter and leave the mountain area. Pass  I don't have one, but I have this badge, do you think it works?"

The little smoke-shaped monster poked its head out, rubbed its eyes vigorously, and said in disbelief, "Isn't this a universal pass?" It had only seen this thing in the textbooks of the spell school, and it was the first time today.  Reality, not sure if it is true or not.  (Remember the site URL: www.hlnovel.com
