Chapter 38 The High Wire

    ?

There are many parks in New York, the most famous of which is Central Park.  It is 51 blocks long and spans 3 blocks.  It can be said that without Central Park, New York would not be New York.

And the highline park (highline park) was originally just an aerial rail link between the meat processing plant and hudson harbor.  Once abandoned, it faced demolition.  It was preserved because of the efforts of environmentalists, but now it has become a very high-profile park in the city.

? When I first arrived at the High Line, I felt like seeing each other later.

The seemingly inadvertent plants and flowers cover the abandoned railway tracks beside the trail.  It makes people feel wild and natural, but not too blunt and noisy.

Chic benches, corridors, and observation decks span the mid-air of the city, brushing past old buildings and emerging office buildings, and blending into one block after another without any abrupt feeling.  It's like the terrace walkway from your own home, which is novel and interesting, and people can stop and linger at any time.

Looking at this city from this perspective, it is actually very special. It is clearly in it, but it seems to be separated from it.  There are tidy streets under your feet, and there is always a constant flow of cars and people.  People walking in the park are part of the hustle and bustle, but also part of the tranquility.

This is a perfect example of turning waste into treasure.  The so-called waste and treasures are not as sharp as black and white.  (Remember the site URL: www.hlnovel.com
