Chapter 10 Running

    ?

As a person who barely passes the sports, running is especially unbearable.  Going around and around the playground should be the most boring thing in the world.

Nowadays, there are beautiful plastic tracks built on the roadsides and outside parks in cities. The colors are very eye-catching and jumping, making people want to go up and run when they look at them, and feel that walking is a waste.

I remember that the runway just opened around the park near my home, so I went to join in the fun.  Because it was early in the morning, I was hungry after running.  I bought a steamed stuffed bun along the way, sat on the edge of the runway and ate it, my hands were full of oil.

Looking up, I can't forget the various gazes cast by the sweaty people who passed by at that time: disdain, contempt, resentment, hunger, envy, surprise, pretending not to see

My thoughts at the time were also very simple. If you do such an immoral thing, just do it. At worst, you won¡¯t eat buns next time.  For pancakes.

Later, there were more ice cream shops, barbecue shops, and convenience stores near the runway Pseudo-sports enthusiasts like me who have weak willpower usually go to the shop after running.  After thinking about it, I buy a bottle of mineral water and come out, but I usually bring an extra pack of lays potato chips, or Zhang Junya's little sister series.

So I gritted my teeth and got a fitness card, and went to the gym to run on the treadmill.  The reason is simple, there is only zero-calorie mineral water in the vending machine, and there is no extra temptation.  And the treadmills are lined up in front of the floor-to-ceiling glass windows facing the street. It is very good to watch the street view while running.

After running away for a few weeks, a small supermarket directly opposite suddenly closed.  Then, very quickly, after a few weeks of renovations, a dessert shop popped up.

Looking through the floor-to-ceiling windows of the gym, crossing the narrow road, and the polished glass windows of the dessert shop, you can clearly see all kinds of cakes on the counter, the freshly made egg waffles are coming out of the oven, and the milk tea is steaming temptingly

Opening a dessert shop across from the gym is doomed to failure, I thought at the time.

However, to this day, that dessert shop is still there, and the business is better than before.  I don't go to the gym anymore.

By the way, the egg waffles at that store are really delicious.  (Remember the site URL: www.hlnovel.com
