    February 15, 2018:

    Today is New Year's Eve in 2018. However, for me, today is the same as usual, probably because I am in a state of reunion with my family every day, so I don't use New Year's Eve as a special celebration.  However, for his father, this year's New Year's Eve seems to be quite embarrassing for him.     As for the New Year's Eve dinner, my mother and I simply ate something. My mother made some steamed buns at noon today, and some sugarcane that my mother bought in Jinjiaba Street yesterday.  It's New Year's Eve dinner.  Fish and meat are not prepared.  If you spend the Chinese New Year at your home in Badan, there are Funing big cakes and Jingguo desserts, which are specialties in Yancheng, as a pastime.

    At this moment, it is raining lightly outside the house. It started to rain in the evening, and until a quarter past eleven, the light rain is still falling.  As for the Spring Festival couplets, my mother didn't buy couplets, so she didn't paste Spring Festival couplets on the door of the rented house.  Every family in Dongwan Village of Jinjiaba did not post Spring Festival couplets. This is a bit unbelievable. I don¡¯t know what Chinese New Year traditions Jinjiaba Dongwan Village is carrying on, but every family does not post Spring Festival couplets on New Year¡¯s Eve.

    New Year¡¯s Eve is about to pass, and the past has passed. However, I don¡¯t want to write the diary after nine o¡¯clock every day. I have to write the diary at seven o¡¯clock every night in advance.  I can't go to bed until after half past ten. I remember what I mentioned before, this is a problem with the timing of writing a diary.

    February 16, 2018:

    Today is the Lunar New Year in 2018, the first day of the first month.     February 18, 2018:

    Today is the third day of the first month of the lunar calendar in 2018.
