    (3) Three ancient monsters: prostitutes, eunuchs, and daughters.

    There are also prostitutes and eunuchs abroad, but this "daughter bandage" is a unique foot-binding bandage in China.  Westerners regard the Chinese as the "sick men of East Asia", that is, when they see men with long hair and women with bound feet, they think that the Chinese are ignorant and backward.  If you fall behind in ignorance, you will be beaten.
