    ?

New Year's Eve is the last night at the end of the year.

The last day at the end of the year is called "Nian Chu Day", or "Sui Chu", which means that the old year will be eliminated and a new one will be replaced.  In addition, that is to remove the meaning; Xi, refers to the night.  New Year's Eve is also called New Year's Eve, New Year's Eve, New Year's Eve, etc.

New Year's Eve is a day to remove the old and make new ones, family reunion, and ancestor worship. It is known as the four traditional festivals of ancestor worship in China along with Qingming Festival, July half, and Double Ninth Festival.

New Year's Eve has a special meaning in the hearts of the Chinese people. No matter how far away a wanderer is, he still has to rush home to reunite with his family, bid farewell to the old year with the sound of firecrackers, and greet the new year with fireworks all over the sky.

[1] "Big Snow" by Lu You. Poem

The north wind blows the snow at the beginning of the fourth day,

? Jiarui Tianjiao and New Year's Eve.

?Half a cup of Tusu has not yet been lifted,

Write peach charms on the grass in front of the lamp.

On the fourth watch of "New Year's Eve", the north wind brought a snow.  The auspicious snow that God bestowed on us arrived just in time for New Year's Eve, which heralds a good harvest in the coming year.

Liu Ji filled half a cup of Tusu wine, and wrote the peach charms to welcome the spring with grass under the light.

[2] "New Year's Eve" Dai Gugu. Poetry

Sweep away the huts and dust,

A stick of fragrance worships the sky.

All things welcome the spring and send away the wax,

The end of the year is tonight.

A pot of fiery roaring bamboo,

? Shou Sui ¹j opens to listen to Songjiao.

? The wild guest predicts that the farming will be good,

The auspicious snow in three winters has not completely disappeared.

As soon as it was light, Liu Haohao took the children to Liu Ji's house.

Liu Haohao entered the door and said, "Seeing that the light in your room is on, I know you didn't sleep well at night."

Seeing the children holding brooms, dustpans and other cleaning tools in their hands, they asked, "Madam Liu woke up so early! Are you?"

Xiao Liuyi held a feather duster in his hand and rushed to say: "Dust the dust."

"Oh, 'dust removal', my house is quite clean, as if they have already cleaned the dust, don't bother you 'little thing' to work hard." Liu Ji caressed Liu Yi's little face that was flushed with cold  .

Liu Haohao said, "This is a custom. We must 'remove the dust', 'eliminate evil spirits and eliminate disasters, and welcome good fortune'! Although it is 'the twenty-fourth of the twelfth lunar month, dust and sweep the house', it is not too late for us to clean up today."  Ah" She wiped the desk, saw the Spring Festival couplets that Liu Ji had just written, and said happily, "It turns out that you are writing the Spring Festival couplets at night, Mr. Liu really has a heart!"

Hearing the voice, Liu Ji, who was sleeping in the other room, came out following Liu Kai.  He asked with some embarrassment: "What can I do?"

Liu Haohao said: "You go to Huazheng to make some paste."

    Liu Kai went in response.

While cleaning the house, Liu Ruyan said: "Uncle Liu, please write a couplet for my house too!"

Liu Ji said: "You are the bride, and when the bride meets the New Year, I have to write you a couplet to express my congratulations."

Liu Haohao said: "This year is also Ruyan's birth year."

Liu Ji looked up at Liu Ruyan, and said with a smile, "So it's a little golden mouse."

Xiao Liuyi stopped sweeping the floor and ran over and said, "Me too, me too."

At this time, Liu Yi had already removed the cotton cap on his head, Liu Ji stroked Liu Yi's little head and asked, "Are you a little golden mouse too?"

Liu Haohao said: "He is a chicken."

"Oh, big rooster, the golden rooster crows" Liu Ji started to write, and he read while writing, "The rat girl married thousands of miles away; the bell rang for two years."

This is Huazheng and Liu Kai walking in with a paste and a broom.

Huazheng asked: "Who wants to get married?"

"Who do you want to marry?" Liu Haohao suddenly smiled, "Didn't you just 'become a monk' before? You are a smooth-tongued person who has been a monk for a long time."

Hua Zheng blushed and fell silent.

Liu Ji tried to smooth things over and said, "I wrote a pair of couplets for Ruyan. She just got married, and it's really wrong to let her come so far away from home for the New Year!" He mentioned the couplets and handed them to Huazheng, "you post  Go to her room!"

But Xiao Liuyi said: "Uncle, please write me one too, I just got married too"

Liu Ji smiled and said, "You little thing, are you married too?"

    "Yes~"

"But, do you know what marriage means?"

    "Know!"

    "What's the meaning?"

"Just sleep in the same room with her." Xiao Liuyi pointednbsp; Luoxiahong, surnamed Luoxia, given name Hong[hong], styled Changgong, was born in Langzhong, Bajun.  During the Yuanfeng period of Emperor Wu of the Han Dynasty [110 BC - 105 BC], the calendar was very chaotic because it had not been revised for many years, and it was seriously inconsistent with the celestial phenomena, which affected agricultural production.  Emperor Wu of the Han Dynasty decreed to fabricate a new calendar. In addition to relying on official astronomers headed by Sima Qian, he also widely recruited private astronomers to Beijing to study the calendar.  Under the recommendation of fellow villager Qiao Long, Luo Xiahong was recruited into Beijing, and worked with Tang Du and others to compile an almanac, and he was responsible for the main calculation work.

After comparison and identification, Emperor Wu of the Han Dynasty believed that the calendar formulated by Luoxiahong was superior to the other 17 calendars, so he promulgated it for implementation in 104 BC.  And it was changed to "Taichu" in that year, and this almanac is called "Taichu Calendar".

The "Taichu Calendar" adopted the advanced calculation method at that time, and it has been used in all dynasties, with only a few minor revisions.  This is also the earliest, longest and most scientific and complete calendar that has been used in Chinese history.

In the "Taichu Calendar", for the first time, the twenty-four solar terms are included, which are in harmony with the agricultural rhythms of spring planting, autumn harvest, summer busy, and winter slack, and formulate a method to determine the leap year and use the month of the solar term "rain" as the first month,  The calendar system of 'taking the first month of Mengchun as the beginning of the year'.  'Mengchun' is the first month of spring, with the first day of the first month as the first day of the year, called 'New Year's Day'.  "Lichun" in the twenty-four solar terms often appears around the Spring Festival.  Since then, the Chinese welcome the New Year and welcome the spring really coincide.  Because Luo Xiahong is the person who determines the Spring Festival in the calendar, the common people affectionately call him the "Spring Festival Old Man".  "

At this time, Hua Zheng walked in with some New Year pictures and Yan Runu.

Yan Runu said: "Madam, breakfast is ready, Madam, please come and eat."

"What are you having for breakfast today?" Liu Haohao asked.

"Tangyuan, red soup noodles, and red bean dumplings." Yan Runu replied

"This is our Sichuan custom Tell Mr. Liu, why do we eat these in Sichuan during the Chinese New Year?" Liu reminded.

Yan Runu said: "A bowl of glutinous rice balls symbolizes the fullness and sweetness of life; eating red noodle soup symbolizes a wealth of wealth; eating red bean dumplings symbolizes a prosperous life."

"We in Sichuan don't eat dumplings during Chinese New Year, that is to say, 'don't eat'. Because 'rice' has the same pronunciation as 'criminal', in order to avoid taboos, we eat glutinous rice balls or small noodles to pray for family reunion and longevity." Liu Haohao said again, "  We all put up the Spring Festival couplets together, and then went to have breakfast, no! Have breakfast" Liu Hao smiled and asked Yan Runu, "Have you posted Spring Festival couplets in your house?"

    "no."

Liu Haohao handed Yan Runu a spring couplet titled "Painted Building Flying to Nanpu Clouds, Beaded Curtains Roll Over Western Mountains at Dusk" to Yan Runu: "You ask Huazheng to paste it for you." She wrote a couplet with "Spring Breeze, Spring Rain,  "New Year, New Year, New Scenery" Spring Festival couplets were handed to Hua Zheng and said, "This one is pasted on the main gate of my house."

The sun has risen, the snow on the roof tiles has begun to melt, and the snow water is dripping down the eaves, just like spring rain.

Liu Haohao picked up the spring couplet of "Wind Shakes Bamboo Shadows with Sound, Rain Beats Plum Blossoms without Words" and said: "Liu Kai, please post this picture on the door of your room Hey, Mr. Liu, why don't you have my room?"  Spring Festival couplets?"

"You are a talented woman, and you still use me to write?" Liu Ji laughed.

"I write as I write, just change a few words on your picture." Liu Haohao took the brush and thought about it, "Master Liu seems to like plum blossoms very much?"

    "How do you know?"

"I see you, I often look at the white plum tree in the yard, and then I see that your poems are full of wind and plum" Liu Haohao wrote "Windful Words on Plum Blossoms in the Wind" on the red paper.  Snow, the rain hits the crabapple and listens to the moon", and told Liu Ji, "I like crabapple the most."

Huazheng came back to pick up the Spring Festival couplets after posting them, and asked, "Hey, why are there no Spring Festival couplets from my house?"

Liu Haohao handed Huazheng two big red "Fu" characters, and said, "Your house, just put two "Fu" characters on it!"

Huazheng accepted the blessing happily: "I'll post it backwards, it's called 'Fortune Arrives'~"

Liu Ji hurriedly stopped: "Hey hey hey you can't paste the word 'Fu' backwards."

"Why?" Hua Zheng asked, "I see that they have posted them backwards!"

Liu Ji corrected: "They don't understand that the gate is the place to welcome and welcome blessings, and the word "Fu" should be pasted upright; the place where the word "Fu" is pasted upside down is usually water tanks, trash cans and other utensils."

"Oh~ there's still this particularity!" Huazheng left with the two "fu".

Liu Haohao asked: "Master Liu, what if the gate of your own house is facing the gate of the neighbor's house?"

Liu Ji said: "Hang two pipa knots [Chinese knots] on the door frame outside the gate of your house, so as to avoid disadvantages" (Remember the website website: www.hlnovel.com)Remember the URL of this website: www.hlnovel.com
