    Conakry, the capital of Guinea

Guinea is one of the least developed countries in the world. As a small country in West Africa, it has a population of less than 10 million people, of which nearly 2 million people live in the capital city of Conakry.

Roughly speaking, the proportion of urban population in the total population is quite high, reaching 44.5%. A high urbanization rate is a representative indicator of an industrialized economy, and it should be a country with a fairly good economy.

However, urbanization in the poor countries of West Africa is quite different from that in other parts of the world.

The city of Conakry is composed of two completely different worlds, one poor and one rich. The urban core area densely populated with reinforced concrete buildings is equivalent to a third-tier city in China. About one-fifth of the city's population lives and belongs to the wealthy class.  .

National administrative agencies, parliament buildings, hotels and foreign embassies and consulates in Guinea are all located in the core area, as well as institutions related to large foreign companies such as Rio Tinto and Vale, University of Conakry, hospitals, etc., almost all important functions  All converge here.

Around the core area of ??the city, except for sporadic two or three-story buildings, there are endless slums, which can't be seen at a glance.

There is no sewer, no qualified drinking water, no normal power supply and communication facilities here, and no one cares about it. It is a state of barbaric growth.

Relying on doing odd jobs in the city, picking up junk, petty theft, begging, or even robbery and crimes to live, they are not so much urban residents as deformed fetuses that live outside the city, merging and symbiotic

In the core area of ??the city

The Guinea office of the British Red River Resources Company is a 12-storey reinforced concrete building ~ Red River Building, which belongs to the assets of the Standard Bank of South Africa and is one of the few high-rise buildings in the urban core area.

The top floor of the 12th floor of Honghe Building

Yang Shouhong (staff officer) and office director Mark Wahlberg and others stood in front of the large windows, overlooking the noisy crowds of protesters and demonstrators on the streets of the city, spreading along the wide central streets of the city towards the direction of the Presidential Palace.

? Standing here, you can clearly see the direction of the presidential palace in the distance. There are armored vehicles and a large number of soldiers. The police are on standby and cordoned off the streets to stop the demonstrations and protesters from advancing.

Today, Conakry is like a powder keg, and the raging public anger can explode at any time, drowning all corrupt and dead bureaucrats.

The democratic system is seriously unacceptable in the backward African continent. Corruption and chaos are chronic diseases that cannot be cured. The ruling class who came to power through various means quickly lost and degenerated in the face of power and wealth, and became the kind of people they once hated.  .

The poor and backward African continent, especially the small and turbulent countries, always fall into this vicious circle time and time again.

With a smile on the corner of Mark Wahlberg's mouth, he said; "Yesterday, Stuart Townsend from Rio Tinto called me and angrily accused us of violating the rules of the game and going black on the wrong road.  Answer him on the phone: "Mind your own business, fool! Think about how to explain to the Rio Tinto board of directors? Think about how to explain to the international community." Hahayou know what he said?"

    "How to say?"

"Stuart Townsend said; he knows the Simandou iron ore project very well, has been here for more than three years, and would like to seek a position at Red River if possible."

    "Oh how did you answer?"

Mark Wahlberg shrugged his shoulders helplessly, and said; "I explicitly rejected him and told him; wellMr. Stuart Townsend, your reputation is not good now, if you don't want to go to jail,  It¡¯s best to find a way to find a good lawyer first and get rid of this huge trouble.¡±

Yang Shouhong laughed when he heard this. He has been with the chairman for 16 years and is now 45 years old. He is no longer the straight steel man who only knows military training.

Rio Tinto's bribery in Guinea, if this kind of private business is not exposed, it will be fine, once it is exposed, it will be a big trouble.

Neither Guinea nor the African Union can sanction Rio Tinto, but this is suspected of unfair competition in mature business societies such as the United States and Europe, and the nature is quite bad.  It is almost a certainty that he will be caught and beaten severely by the pigtails.

Yang Shouhong looked at the raging crowd of demonstrators. The local military and police in Guinea pointed their guns at the demonstrators, but they still couldn't suppress the excitement of the demonstrators. The loud slogans came in bursts.

    Suddenly, he heard two crisp gunshots, and the stimulating Yang Shouhong's eyes shrank slightly, and he reacted vigilantly in his heart;

&nb??Angrily waving long knives, and some people worked hard to stir up the emotions of the demonstrators, it was a mess.

A group of young people overturned the car and set it on fire, sending blazing black smoke straight into the sky.

More thugs poured into the shops along the road and began to smash and loot to vent their violent emotions. Some thugs held iron bars and smashed the window glass and cars on the roadside. The situation in the city was close to getting out of control.

The sound of sirens, cursing, crying, and the sound of broken utensils came together, and occasionally a few crisp gunshots could be heard, everything was in a mess.

The Humvee convoy passed through the chaotic crowd on the street, with greed, anger and fear in their eyes, all kinds of complex emotions intertwined.

The battle-hardened mercenaries didn't care about these fearful gazes, chewing gum leisurely in their mouths, pointing their black muzzles vigilantly outside, like wild beasts ready to go.

Mercenaries are a life-threatening profession. In terms of danger, this is the most dangerous group of people in Africa.

To put it bluntly, not to mention these rioting black uncle crowd, even the heavily armed government army, the strength of the five slags is not enough to look down upon in front of mercenaries.  (Remember the site URL: www.hlnovel.com
