    chapter 06

Around, even the wind was silent for a moment.

Ruan Nianchu pursed his lips and looked at Li Teng, without speaking, his eyes were puzzled and inquiring.  The umbrella knife in his hand was given by Grandpa, so where did the umbrella knife in her hand come from.  She couldn't figure it out.

The other party was calm and composed. After examining the umbrella knife for a few seconds, he moved up indifferently, looked at her, and asked in a slightly cold tone, "You moved my things?"

"I didn't do it on purpose." Ruan Nianchu's eyes flickered and he explained, "I found this knife when I was cleaning the room. I just wanted to use it for self-defense."

Hearing this, Li Teng didn't say a word, but just stared at her with a cigarette, his eyes studying and judging.

Ruan Nianchu said again: "You haven't answered me yet."

    He was cold, "Answer what."

Her hand holding the handle of the knife tightened slightly, "Two umbrella knives. The one in your hand was given by Grandpa, so how did I get the one in my hand?"

Li Teng dusted off the cigarette, "How did the knife come about, does it have anything to do with you?"

Ruan Nianchu bit his lip, glanced left and right, then lowered his voice, "Do you know, this is the saber of the Chinese Air Force."

He snorted, looking angry, "Is that so. It's pretty powerful."

She frowned even tighter: "Why do you have it?"

The thick clouds above the head were blown away by the wind, the moon came out, and the light moonlight sprinkled on the entire roof.  One side of Li Teng's face was bright and the other was dark, indifferent, without any expression.

After a while, he picked up the cigarette butt and threw it down casually, looked sideways, and licked the corner of his mouth at her, "In our business, the more people you kill, the more people will be afraid of you." While speaking, he snatched the umbrella knife from her hand.  , weighed it, with a gloomy and cruel smile, "If you slaughter a sheep, you have to grab some spoils, are you right?"

Ruan Nianchu's hands trembled, his gaze changed from doubt to panic, and finally to anger.  She glared at him, her teeth clenched.

It took a long time before she uttered a few words in a trembling voice: "You will be punished."

"Really?" Li Teng sneered, and fell on his back on the roof, with an arm resting on the back of his head, looking straight into the night, faintly, "You really think there is such a thing as retribution."

    She said sarcastically, "Of course."

He chuckled and said nothing, his eyes became colder and deeper.

"Aren't you afraid?" Ruan Nianchu almost blurted out whether it was out of anger, out of fear, or because he had found an outlet, "You guys have done so many outrageous things, and you will definitely go to hell when you die."

Li Teng was not angry at all, "Isn't it right here."

    "" Ruan Nianchu was speechless.

This was the first time she had chatted with this man in a few days, and frankly speaking, it was really not pleasant.  Originally, she had doubts about his identity, she thought he was different from others.  He had saved her a few times, which proved that his conscience was still alive, plus the saber of unknown origin She thought that he knew the owner of the saber, or at least had some kind of connection with the saber owner.

Ruan Nianchu originally wanted to ask him to let him go.

It's a pity that the origin of the saber disappointed her. It was just the spoils of a certain atrocity they committed, and the original owner of the saber was most likely murdered.

She lowered her eyes in silence for a moment, then moved slightly, ready to go down from the roof.  But as soon as he grabbed the eaves, the man said abruptly, "Ruan Nianchu, I am Chinese just like you."

"" Ruan Nianchu paused and looked back at him.

Li Teng looked calm, "My hometown seems to be in northern China. When I was ten years old, I was sold to Cambodia, and my grandfather took me in and asked me to be his boy scout. So, I can only work for him in this life."

She listened, feeling a little uncomfortable.  The fingers tightened unconsciously, and the nails slid across the bamboo wood, leaving a few white scratches.

The wind was hanging quietly, and on the roof, the girl's black hair was blowing in the wind.

Suddenly, Li Teng raised his eyelids and glanced at her, raised his eyebrows halfway, "Really?"

    Ruan Nianchu was stunned.

Li Teng took out his lighter, squinted his eyes with a cigarette in his mouth, and said, "This is the first time I tell this story. It took two minutes to make up."

"You" Ruan Nianchu was furious, feeling speechless and unbelievable, clenched his fists and said angrily, "You actually made up such a story to lie to me? Are you bored?"

After all, she is a little girl, she looks angry, her eyes are wide open, and her cheeks are bulging. At first glance, she looks like a small goldfish in a fish tank for viewing.  He stared straight at her, squinted his eyes, and exhaled smoke, the bluish-white smoke blurring that delicate face.  Said: "Who is saying behind my back that I am bored."

this time??Boy, although it is not a good tool, it should still be able to help you a little.  "

Li Teng lowered his eyes, expressionless: "Thank you, Grandpa."

Tuva opened his eyes, walked slowly to him with a Buddhist bead, and laughed, "I will see the boss in seven days, and I will definitely introduce you to him. These days, there are not many young people as capable as you. If you can  Being favored by the boss, boy, the future is limitless."

"Grandpa was joking." Li Teng said, "If there is no Grandpa, there would be no me."

Grandpa was in a good mood, and reached out to pat him on the shoulder, "Repaying your kindness, I admire you the most. Work hard, you and I are like father and son, Grandpa will never treat you badly."

Li Teng curled the corners of his lips, and his slightly drooping eyes turned colder.

    *

After this, it rained heavily in the jungle for two days.

Ruan Nianchu never saw Li Teng again.  This is the fourteenth day since she was kidnapped, and she still can't figure out how to escape.

She has not received any new rice flowers.  The few bunches in the vase have all withered.

Everything seemed to be at some kind of dire impasse.

At noon, Tori brought her lunch. In the afternoon, she moved a bench and sat at the door of Grandma Ah Xin¡¯s room to watch her sew clothes. In this way, the sun came from the west again.  The hills fell down.

Ruan Nianchu waited for a while after dinner, guessing that Li Teng would not come back tonight, so he set off to wash, locked the door and went to bed.

What woke her up was a knock on the door.  Boom, boom, slow and regular.

"" Ruan Nianchu frowned, and immediately stood up from the cold hair all over his body.  She was vigilant and defensive, and said in a deep voice, "who is outside?"

A deep and tired voice came from behind the door, very familiar, "Me."

It's Li Teng.  Ruan Nianchu's eyes flickered, he got out of bed, and went to unlock the door.

When I opened the door, I saw a figure standing outside. The surroundings were pitch black, and the face could not be seen clearly, only a tall silhouette.  Without thinking too much, she lowered her head slightly and turned to let him in.

Li Teng moved, but unexpectedly, his body suddenly fell forward.  Ruan Nianchu panicked, and instinctively stretched out his hand to help her. His arms unconsciously crossed her shoulders, and then, half of his weight was pressed down on her.

"Hey, what's wrong with you?" Ruan Nianchu was stunned, his whole body was caged in his shadow, he staggered and almost couldn't stand upright.

The breath on the top of the head is heavy and cloudy, and it is hot.  She noticed something, and touched his waist and abdomen with her hand, which was hot and damp.

It's all blood.  (Remember the site URL: www.hlnovel.com
