    ?

The two beggars were directly beaten into a daze, and it was too late to resist, and they were dragged into the alley next to them by those two people.

Pedestrians hurried on the road, seeing the tall and big appearance of those two people, they didn't dare to care, so they hurried past.

As soon as they were dragged into the alley, Yang Wenli walked out of the inn with a steward.

When he walked to the door, he glanced in the direction of the alley, and snorted coldly, "You still want to follow me? What the hell."

Yang Wenli had discovered the traces of these two beggars two days ago, so he more or less guessed who sent them.

Unexpectedly, his sister is really promising now, and she dares to let people stare at him.

"Let's go, let's go and congratulate my niece on her housewarming." Yang Wenli strode towards the Gu family with a sullen face.

The person in charge hurriedly beckoned the two tall men to follow.

Just as they walked here for a while, another man and a woman walked out of the inn. Judging from their gestures, they should be a newly married couple.  Behind them were servants, holding several gift boxes in their hands.

The couple are Dou Fukang and Duan Wan who just got married not long ago.

Duan Wan glanced back at the gift boxes, smiled and said to her husband beside her, "I didn't expect that we came at the right time. We just arrived at Xuanhe Mansion yesterday, and today we met Yundong and the others when they moved in. Fortunately,  I brought a gift when I came, otherwise there would be no place to buy it this early in the morning."

"Let's go, give them a surprise." Dou Fukang said with a smile.

Just as the few people walked out of the inn, Dou Fukang's footsteps suddenly paused, and he looked in the direction of the alley suspiciously.

    "Husband, what's the matter?"

"There seems to be a sound over there."

The two looked at each other, and walked into the alley together.

Unexpectedly, as soon as I walked to the entrance of the alley, I saw two wounded beggars lying on the ground.

But these two people were still tied with ropes, the knots were very strong, and their mouths were stuffed with cloth.

Hearing the sound of footsteps, the two beggars raised their heads and looked over, and immediately shook their heads eagerly and laboriously at them.

Dou Fukang ordered the servant behind him, "Untie the ropes on them."

The young man quickly ran forward, pulled the cloth from the mouths of the two, and cut the ropes on their bodies.

The two beggars thanked each other repeatedly. The older one was still a little anxious, and wanted to stand up, but he didn't stand up straight, and fell back heavily.

"Be careful." Fortunately, the servant beside him was quick to support him.

The beggar ate and grinned in pain, and looked at his brother beside him, "Can you still go?"

The younger one was protected by his elder brother when he was beaten. The injury was not serious, but his hands were not natural.  So he nodded, "You can still go."

"Then you hurry to Lanjiang Street and tell Mr. Gu's family."

The beggar brother let out a 'hmm', held his hand, and ran out of the alley.

Seeing his back gradually disappear, the beggar brother frowned and said, "I don't know if it's too late."

After finishing speaking, he thanked Dou Fukang and the others.

Dou Fukang waved his hand, but asked thoughtfully, "You said Lanjiang Street just now? Mr. Gu's house? Could it be Gu Yundong?"

The beggar was taken aback for a moment, "You know me, my lord?" (Remember the website address of this website: www.hlnovel.com
