    ?

Sister-in-law Hongxia walked into the kitchen and smelled the smell of frying oil, and said, "Of course, what are you doing with this smell?"

Lin Ranran was wearing an apron, and was frying things in front of the stove with a pair of long chopsticks.  There is a layer of white flour on the chopping board, and a row of small yellow dough pieces on top: "What is this?"

"Fried pumpkin pie." Lin Ranran smiled, carefully turning over the contents of the pan.

I saw that the small dough piece rolled and slowly expanded after being put into the oil pan, turning into a hollow small dough cake like blowing air.  As soon as the heat is up, take it out and put it on a colander to drain the oil.

Sister-in-law Hongxia picked up a blow and took a bite.  There is a layer of dry steamed bread crumbs on the surface of the pumpkin pie, which is extra crispy when bitten down, but the inside is tender, with a layer of milky pumpkin soft filling, which is half-solidified and seems to flow down.

Sister-in-law Hongxia was afraid of eating pumpkin at first, and she ate many pumpkin snacks made by Lin Ranran these days, but when she tasted this, she still couldn't help but ate a few mouthfuls, almost scalding her mouth.

I just felt that the pumpkin cake was crispy on the outside and tender on the inside, sweet and not greasy, and praised again and again: "This is delicious, this is delicious! It's just that it consumes too much oil. Hey, look at your half pot of oil."

Lin Ranran smiled and said, "There's no way, the fried pumpkin pancakes won't taste good without oil. If we have guests at home today, it's a luxury."

Sister-in-law Hongxia remembered her reason for coming, and said, "Yes, I saw that Young Master Gu's car was at the entrance of the village. I came to ask if you could help me."

Lin Ranran smiled and said, "I'll call you if you don't come. Sister-in-law, help me catch a pullet and kill it, so that I can serve it as a guest dish."

The three hens of Lin Wang's family were paid to Lin Ranran. Since the Chinese New Year, two hens have been eaten, and two chicks have been caught to raise. Now they have grown into half-sized pullets, and they are all placed in red.  Mrs. Xia raised her there.

Xiaojing and Tiedan dug earthworms, caught grasshoppers and fed them to the chickens every day. They fed the chickens until they were fat and tender, and they could lay two eggs a day.

Sister-in-law Hongxia caught one and killed it in her yard.  Take a sea bowl and put some salt, first pick up the chicken blood and put it aside.  Then boil hot water to pluck the feathers, and a chicken is cleaned up in the blink of an eye.

Lin Ranran also fried all the pumpkin pies, put them aside, and started to process the hen.

"But what are you going to do?" Mrs. Hongxia washed her hands, put on her apron and came to help.

Lin Ranran asked Mrs. Hongxia to chop up the hen, divided half of it for Mrs. Hongxia to steam, and steamed the chicken blood together in a steamer.

The other half of the hen is chopped into small pieces and blanched.

Cut the pumpkin into small pieces, stir-fry tender peas, diced carrots, and shiitake mushrooms in a pan, pour in the washed rice and chicken pieces, add cooking wine, soy sauce and a little white sugar, add water, cover the pot, and simmer over low heat.

Lin Ranran went to the yard to pick a handful of pumpkin leaves and flowers, and picked two gherkins.  Clean them all and keep them there for frying when Gu Peiyuan and the others come back.

Suddenly heard movement from outside, Hongxia's sister-in-law listened carefully: "It looks like someone is fighting! Go out and have a look!"

"No, sister-in-law, let's not join in the fun." Lin Ranran pulled Hongxia's sister-in-law and said, "Then there is nothing to see."

Sister-in-law Hongxia had no choice but to accompany Lin Ranran to play with the vegetable patch in the yard, while saying, "It must be that group of educated youths making trouble again. You said they have only been in our village for a few days? How many troubles have they caused. First, we will occupy you  They also yelled that our village did not pay their rations. There are also those educated youths, especially that Cheng Yaoyao, who spend all day in the village ostentatiously, attracting a bunch of old men to follow her around."

Sister-in-law Hongxia disdained Cheng Yaoyao in her words.  It's not because Cheng Yaoyao is beautiful, but because Cheng Yaoyao is so restless!

These educated youths all had to go to work in the field, and all of them were big girls who got on the sedan chair for the first time, but no one was as delicate as Cheng Yaoyao.  Letting her take off her shoes and step into the ground is like killing her.

The work of the past few days was done by the men in the village who couldn't see her cry, so they rushed to help her finish it.

Lin Ranran picked the cucumber buttons that were no longer than the length of fingers among the cucumber vines, while peeking at Hongxia's expression, he said with a smirk: "Couldn't Brother Daguan also help her with work?"

"What are you talking about!" Hongxia's sister-in-law was so angry that she almost tore the cucumber shelf apart, and said, "I caught that dead thing yesterday, helping that vixen pick firewood on the mountain road! Those eyes are almost sticky."  It's on someone, and he's still smiling! I've been busy at his house from morning till night, have I ever gotten a smile on his face? Bah! Heartless man!"

Sister-in-law Hongxia¡¯s eyes were spitting fire, and the last loud ¡°Bah¡± made the honest man who had just entered the door tremble with fright, and his feet in Jiefang shoes hung in the air, not daring to fall.

Lin Ranran was amused, and deliberately said: "I don't think Brother Daguan is that kind of person?"

Sister-in-law Hongxia scolded furiously: "Why isn't he? ?It's smelly.

After hearing Lin Ranran's plan, Gu Peiyuan's eyes flashed with warmth: "Grandma will like it."

"Of course." Lin Ranran smiled, "I know grandma's taste better than you. It's a pity that the weather is so hot that the chickens killed today can't be saved until tomorrow."

Gu Peiyuan said: "You killed it?"

"Sister-in-law Hongxia helped me kill it, and I don't know when you will come back." Lin Ranran said.

The conversation between the two was very natural, and neither of them realized the intimacy in it.

Gu Peiyuan ate tomatoes in two mouthfuls, washed his hands with well water, and asked casually, "Where is Sister Hongxia?"

"Go back and take care of her man." Lin Ranran gossiped, "Brother Daguan helped Cheng Yaoyao carry firewood, and Aunt Hongxia said they were flirting."

Gu Peiyuan washed his hands, flicked his slender fingers, and the water droplets all bounced to the face of Gu Yuanyuan who rushed from behind: "Brother Daguan is not that kind of person."

"I know. But Hongxia's sister-in-law always has to vent her anger, who made him have bad ears." Lin Ranran said, seeing Gu Peiyuan's doubts, he explained: "It's Sichuan dialect, saying that men have soft ears and are afraid of their wives."

Gu Peiyuan touched his ear involuntarily, and gently pulled it off.

Seeing his little action, Lin Ranran chuckled.

At this time, Gu Yuanyuan had already climbed onto Gu Peiyuan's body, grabbed Gu Peiyuan's ears, and shouted: "Sister, my brother's ears are so soft!"

"Fatty Gu, are you looking for a beating?!"

Just as they were arguing, Semyon came back cursing.  He was much more embarrassed than Gu Peiyuan, and there were several scratches on his handsome face.

"Pei Yuan! You have to make the decision for me!" (Remember the website URL: www.hlnovel.com
