    ?

When Shen Xun arrived at the private room, Shen Jinsheng was the only one in it.  She immediately understood that he deliberately told her that the time was early, and wanted the father and daughter to get along for a while.

"Dad." She called him, putting down her handbag across the seat.

"You sit next to me. Your Aunt Song Qian is not coming. She has something to do at the stage." Shen Jinsheng said in a low voice, his eyes swept over her clothes, and there was a little satisfaction in his eyes.

Shen Xun didn't feel very relieved, she had been used to it since she was a child, her father, a diplomat, was most particular about the word "property", and every time she attended social occasions with him, she felt like a gift box tied with a bow.

"Why did you lose so much weight?" Taking a second look at her, Shen Jinsheng frowned, "Lin Yu told me that you have suffered a lot this trip."

"It's okay." Shen Xun replied softly, watching the waiter pour tea for him intently.

"At the beginning, I didn't approve of you being a reporter. It was your grandfather who spoiled you," Shen Jinsheng repeated the old topic, "Isn't it good to be a female anchor just like your Aunt Song Qian?"

Shen Xun smiled, but did not speak.

What good is that?  Like a marionette, reading according to a script written by others, even the smile fits every minute, how boring.

However, as long as Shen Jinsheng likes it, maybe his job is similar to that of the anchor.  She has grown up, unlike before, she has long been too lazy to argue.  Sometimes she thought, how did Shen Jinsheng fall in love with the director's mother?  Maybe life is too step-by-step, so you are attracted to free spirits?  But in the end, he still couldn't help but want to confine her in his small world, only to be his Mrs. Shen.  Her silly mother should love this man so much.

"I'm talking to you, are you listening?" Shen Jinsheng reminded dissatisfiedly.

"I'm listening, but I don't plan to change jobs at the moment." She replied.

"You're not young anymore." Shen Jinsheng's tone was rare and hesitant, as if the topic he was going to talk about next was not something he was good at.

"You don't want to arrange a partner for me, do you?" Shen Xun tilted his head half-jokingly, and was taken aback when he saw his expression, "Really? Could it be tonight?"

Before Shen Jinsheng could answer, there were a few polite knocks at the door, and a middle-aged woman with a gentle temperament came in, followed by a young man in his twenties.

"Old classmate, we haven't seen each other for many years," she greeted Shen Jinsheng with a smile, "Sorry, I'm late."

"No, no, we came early. I remember the last time we met was at your home in Paris. I have always treasured that painting of yours." Shen Jinsheng patted Shen Xun on the shoulder, "Chen Lan, let me introduce you,  This is my daughter Shen Xun."

Shen Xun had no choice but to stand up, nodded with a smile, "Hello, Auntie."

"This child is so good-looking," Chen Lan looked at her with surprise in her eyes, and turned her head to pull the young man behind her, "Jin Sheng, this is my disobedient son, Yang Wei."

"Hello, Uncle Shen, I have admired your name for a long time." Yang Wei shook hands with Shen Jinsheng respectfully, and smiled at Shen Xun.

This man looks like the kind of naughty child since he was a child, but he has a good face. This kind of expression that might appear frivolous to others is very natural on his face.

For a meal, the four of them ate in a harmonious atmosphere.  Chen Lan is a painter. Although she is demure and graceful, she can hold a lot of alcohol. When old friends met, she opened two bottles of red wine with Shen Jinsheng and had a great conversation. Afterwards, they seemed to have forgotten the topic of blind date.

Yang Wei also has a familiar personality, chatted with Shen Xun for a while, and felt that the round table was far away, so he simply sat next to her and chatted nonsense.  But he always keeps a distance from each other, and can always refill Shen Xun's tea in time. He has a ruffian appearance, but he is well-bred.

"Let me tell you, I have a very good buddy, who is very handsome and has a special personality. I will introduce you to you when I have a chance," he began to tell his friend, "But I sent him a box of things a while ago.  Make him angry."

Shen Xun stopped holding the teacup.  Yang Wei, she suddenly remembered, she seemed to have heard this name before.

"You said that this person is also the same. He coaxed the girl not to buy bags and jewelry, but actually bought a box of cocoa powder. Then I brought some private goods with me. He was angry. Do you know what I brought with me?"

She looked up at him: "Condoms."

Yang Wei was taken aback for a moment: "Hey, amazing, how did you guess it?"

"You sent it to me." Shen Xun said softly.

"I'll go!" Yang Wei stared wide-eyed and couldn't help shouting.

The courier was sent by his assistant contacting Cheng Li. He thought the recipient was Cheng Li.

"Yang Wei, what are you doing!?nbsp; "As a boyfriend, as a husband." He smiled.

"Really?" Shen Xun laughed angrily, "Cheng Li, from what standpoint do you say that?"

His smile gradually disappeared, but there was still no trace of emotion in his black eyes: "After all, we have been together for a while."

"Before?" As if being stabbed suddenly, Shen Xun looked up at him, his face turned pale, "Are you afraid to even say the word like now?"

A waiter passed by and couldn't help but look back at them¡ªwhat a wonderful couple, but the atmosphere seemed a little off.

"Tell me, when you say these words, does your heart hurt? Do you really feel nothing?" Looking up, the light shines through the stained retro glass, splashing blood, staining Shen Xun's eyes red.

"Do you want to call me sister-in-law now?" She paused every word, forcing him and herself.

"If you want to listen, no problem," he looked at her quietly, "I'll go back first."

"You have been to Ruishan Tuo Pagoda to watch the sunrise, right? Do you love the scenery there?" Facing his back, she choked her throat, almost unable to say, "Do you know, no matter what you have  How much I love the scenery there, I love you even more."

He stopped, straightened his back, but didn't look back.  The dark decoration style of the American restaurant, against the blurred lights, made him look a little unreal.

"Didn't you say that if you have the chance to meet again, treat me like trash on the side of the road, that's fine." He seemed to be smiling, with a calm and gentle voice, "If I should say it, I would have told you a long time ago.  Make it clear."

Shen Xun's face was as pale as a sheet of paper: "I knew this was the case, and I would never have gone to Yunnan back then."

The moment he walked in the door, he seemed to look back at her, but he didn't.

Shen Xun was a little dazed, and couldn't help but wonder if this would be the last time we met.  The idea made her fearful again.

Returning to his seat, Cheng Cheng had a faint hint of alcohol on his face, but he still did not forget to ask her whether the dishes were suitable for her taste.  Cheng Ya on the opposite side was probably because he hadn't seen his younger brother for a long time, so he got close to Cheng Li and kept chatting.

Li Meng sent a WeChat message with a question mark.

Shen Xun regained a dejected villain expression, and received a call from Li Meng, who deliberately said in a coquettish voice: "Xun Xun, I'm drunk, take me home."

After hanging up the phone, she greeted Cheng Cheng: "I'm really sorry, my girlfriend is also in this restaurant, and she was looking for me when she was drunk, maybe I have to go first."

While speaking, the phone started to vibrate again, and the word "Mengmeng" kept flashing on the screen.

Cheng Cheng didn't keep him anymore, Shen Xun also greeted Cheng Zhu and his wife, Cheng Ya and Cheng Li, picked up his handbag and left in a hurry.  Cheng Li glanced at the back of her leaving, lowered his head to drink tea, and lowered his eyes to hide the emotion in his eyes.  (Remember the site URL: www.hlnovel.com
